Page 51- _Night of the fallen feathers_
The entrance clicked open leaving the golden _Kohryu_ dragon art cut in half. Hiroshi drove in slightly disturbing the peaceful atmosphere with crackling sounds of crushed pebbles. Shining through the floral pink shades was the dimming light closing to disappearance along with the engine sound. An unusual feeling grasped Rintaro's excited cramped together with a tightening heart. Joyfully humming to a happy love song, she came to analyze her surroundings in oddity. Strangely the once full of busy maids mansion was suddenly quiet. The only tenant present around the large compound was tranquility in-arms with a few cricket sounds from random dark corners. She could barely see with night's darkness blinding her eyes, and to top it of a sudden cold feeling came from her shoulder. "Eeeeek!!," her voice screamed pitched in a low tone because of the exhausting day. Haruno turned around only to find yawning Kiyohime and cute sleepy Kagami staring at her while barely holding in their chuckle.
Kagami.... _Pfft.... Rin's an old whimpering teenage girl huh...._
Kiyohime.... _I-i didn't know you were that much of a chicken, i've taken interest in you more. We'll definitely make good friends._
Rintarõ.... _Ha ha ok very funny, please don't do that again._
While busy quacking with mocking laughter at silent Haruno, the two princesses heard an unpleasant growl coming from the shades. Rin who happened to have pinpointed an obvious source, gladly went along with the play. She lightly screamed in fake fear along with the terrified once laughing ladies. The growling grew louder 'till it had become very noticeable.
Kiyohime.... _Uhh...Rintaro?, i take back what i said, or should i say add to it?. My little sister and i just might be chickens as well. Or maybe not, i mean anyone would be scared hearing growls from the back of your car right!?_
Kagami.... _Speak for yourself big sis 'cause i'm not scared at all!._
In an attempt to boost their courage, they both found themselves pitifully clinging to each other in shivers. Rintaro tried for a long time but in the end she released her big held in laughter. She stood still gazing at the princess with a boastful smirk.
Kagami.... _Hey commoner!, do you find anything funny in this situation!?_
Spout-mouth's pathetic plan at scaring Rin with an imperious voice failed, coming off as somewhat strangely funny. A serious face yet tremblingly shaking voice, widely opened eyes and attached hands. No matter how you looked at it, the situation would seem amusing even if it was seriously frightening. Ready to quit the joke and get on with her awaiting emotions, she shouted,"come on out now i think you've done enough scaring for today!," while glaring at the car. Hiroshi appeared from the hedge next to the car split with a smiling and apologetic look.
Kiyohime.... _Eh!, Hahaha very funnily scary moment you gave us back there._
Kiyo had mixed expressions hanging on to her pretty face. Anger was an obvious one, but it was buttered up with embarrassment and covered in laughter. She would've definitely beat the crap outta him if it wasn't for her mature mind at work. But contrary to the old, young Kagami infused her already surly mood with the driver's angering joke.
Kagami.... _Huuuh!?, how dare a simple chauffeur play with a lady's innocent emotions much bold a princess! If not for you being big bro Hiro's driver, i would've without hesitation asked my father to get you fired immediately!, Hmph!!._
Surprisingly she withheld her voice to its steady normal volume making it less of a tantrum and more of a warning. She looked to the side her mouth certainly in spout-mood, and let go of her clinging onto Kiyohime. After finishing their trivial event, Rintaro charged back to the mysteriously peaceful house.
Rintarõ.... _Hey Kiyo, have you noticed how the house is so quiet? I mean yeah it's nighttime, but it's not that late for everyone to be sleeping already right?_
Kiyohime.... _Yeah now that you mention it, this place is usually noisier around this time._
Everyone's parched lips tightened, daring half a dozen glares at the dark quiet door. Hearts pumping loudly to a pierce, they moved towards the front door and got ready to open.
