Deceiving

I went to have a chat with my sister, and maybe beat her ass for scaring my mate, sister or not, I haven't been home for twenty-four hours and she's starting fights. I left Micah and moved toward Ashlynn's room, well our room together, I went in to see her sitting on her bed, crying.

/"Ashlynn,/" I say sitting on the bed next to her, she wasn't looking at me, but I couldn't see her crying, I pulled her over to my lap, letting her cry it out.

/"You love him more than me?/" Ashlynn asks or maybe she's just accusing me.

/"He's my mate, of course, I love him, but I love you too baby girl,/" I assure her, she's my baby girl, my sweet baby.

/"Then why didn't you tell me? Why didn't he tell me? What if he hurts you?/" Ashlynn says, she's worried I'd be hurt.

/"Ash, he won't hurt me, he's my mate,/" I assure her again, but she shakes her head no.
