Chapter 87 – Training with Peter

Robert's POV

Man, those wind magic abilities and spells are so new to me, except for Gust, which I just learned yesterday afternoon. Peter is so helpful to me. Later, I decided to burrow that book for a week, and Peter updated the library card as an indication that I'm burrowing it.

Later in the afternoon, after class, me, William, and Emma went to the courtyard to have some training with Peter. At that very courtyard, Peter was waiting for me, just like last time.

"So, how's the classes?" Peter asked positively.

"Pretty normal as usual," I answered back normally and with positivity.

"Good," Peter replied back. "Are you ready?"

I nodded. "Yes."

And so, our simple training began.

Peter summoned a flame using magic in his right hand, and told me to use my wind magic to extinguish it.

I did so, and outstretched my right hand towards the flame, before shouting, "Gust!"

Then, I closed my eyes and tried to focus as much mana as possible to the Gust.

After a few seconds, I heard a slight, faint gust of wind, and when I opened my eyes, the flame is still there.

"Your Gust is too low," Peter said to me.

"Wait, I just focused a bit of my mana to it," I replied back.

"I think that was not much," Peter responded. "You need to focus with your mind so you could concentrate your mana to the wind magic."

"Right," I replied back. I then thought, "This must be another lesson in dual magic. I must take it seriously, too."

And so, I closed my eyes once more, and tried to concentrate more, forgetting and disregarding any thoughts about lightning magic at the moment so I could focus my mana to the wind magic.

And then, I heard a slightly stronger gust of wind, and when I opened my eyes, the flame was gone.

Surprised by it then, I commented, "Wow, I did it."

"Good, you just focused more mana to the wind," Peter said to me.

Then, William responded to this with, "Wow, Robert-kun, you're getting more progressive."

Glancing at William, I replied, "Thanks."

I then glanced back at the training, and said to Peter, "Okay, let's do it again."

Peter then nodded in agreement, and summoned the same flame again using magic in his right hand.

And so, our training resumed, with me trying to focus more of my mana to the Gust.
