Chapter 140 – Training with Mirai

Third person POV

The next morning, at 5:44 a.m., Mirai woke up and went up to Robert's guesthouse to knock on the door, expecting that Robert will open it.

But instead, William was the one who opened the door. "

"Oh, morning, Mirai-chan," he greeted. "What are you doing here? It's only 5 in the morning."

"Where's Robert-kun?" Mirai asked back.

"Why?"

"We'll have a training session at the training fields this morning."

"Oh, okay then, give me a minute."

He then went to Robert's room to wake him up.

"Robert-kun, wake up," William said to him. "You have a morning training session with Mirai-chan."

Eventually, upon waking up, Robert remembered what he had said to Mirai last night, and he replied, "Okay, okay, I'm up."

He then got up and changed to his regular clothes, before leaving his room and guesthouse with his katana to have a training session with Mirai at the training fields.

At the palace complex's training fields, Mirai first shows her katana skills towards Robert. Robert was quite impressed, and he then showed his to her. His skills are less in quality than Mirai's because she had been training at the age of ten. After that, he showed his lightning and wind magic towards her. Mirai was amazed at his dual magic. But, Robert couldn't do Ion Blade yet because he is still learning.

"I wished I could do that," Mirai commented.

"Yeah, but only those who were of Lightningheart and Windheart bloodlines can do that," Robert responded.

Mirai understands this because she was of a different bloodline.

They then resumed their training.

Masanori is not coming for Mirai's lessons today because he only does that five times a week.

But Robert sensed this, and he'll take over for the day.

Meanwhile, Tanaka and Takashi watches this, and Takashi was marveled on how Mirai and Robert had got along very fast.

"Yeah, and I saw her lovestruck towards him," Tanaka replied back.

"Oh really?" his father responded.

"Yeah, more like."

"I see then."

They then went to prepare for a day full of tasks and duties.
