After Marriage

Unbelievable that I am now married. I see the expressions on my parents' faces, looking so happy as my wedding ceremony unfolds seamlessly. They appear relieved because I am now, owned by someone they believe can take care of me as they did before. My brother is still absent from the party. When I ask my mother, she only shakes her head as if she no longer understands why her eldest child behaves like this at such an important event.

The event is almost over when I am welcoming some relatives with Axel. From a distance, I see a short-haired woman with heavy makeup on her face, wearing a tight red dress above her knees, revealing her ample cleavage. Yes, none other than Emil. I smile broadly at her and welcome her with outstretched arms because I intend to greet her with a hug.

We hug, and many people notice. I never expected Emil to attend my wedding. 

" I thought you would never come," I say to Emil while Gently hitting her hand.

"I was surprised when I read your message. And I immediately came here from the airport," Emil explains. 

" From the airport? Are you already dressed like this? Come on, don't lie to me," I say, disbelieving. 

" Of course. Coincidentally, I just came from London with my boyfriend and attended a formal event. Because I took his private jet, I didn't think I would rush to change my clothes. Then I turned on my phone, I got your message, so I hurried here," Emil explains.

I leave Axel behind and take Emil to sit, continuing our conversation. While I am engrossed in talking to Emil, suddenly Axel approaches me. 

"Ahem, ahem," Axel approaches me and coughs quite loudly. Emil then looks at me in surprise while giving a Signal that someone is behind me. When I see that person is Axel, I realize that I haven't introduced Emil to Axel. I stand up and introduce Emil to Axel.

"Hello? I'm Emilia, Summer's friend," Emil introduces herself to Axel. 

"Axel," Axel replies while shaking Emil's hand.

As usual, Axel's response is quite brief. Either he is too lazy to talk or simply does not want to get to know my friend.

"Even though he seemed very eager to be introduced to Emil, why is he acting so cold?" I mutter with annoyance.

Axel then goes back to his colleagues while I am still with Emil. Finally, I have The chance to pour out my feelings that I've been holding back. Unconsciously, tears flow down my face, and Emil seems to feel sorry for me. Emil looks surprised when I tell him the truth. Emil even suggests ending the contract immediately. He doesn't want to see me unhappy.

I am fortunate to have such an understanding friend. Not only that, Emil has become like a sister to me. I also tell Emil that my brother does not approve of this marriage, so he hasn't shown up until now. Emil then asks me if my brother knows The Real situation. I shake my head. Emil can only sigh.

Initially, Emil suggested that I tell everything to my brother. So I can get support from him in front of my parents. But I feel that what will happen will be Different from what is expected. There might be a rift in my family. 

"What do you think? Shouldn't I end this contract right away? I feel that Axel is not the right man for you," Emil explains. 

"If I'm honest, won't it just make things worse? What if there's a rift in my family? " I reply. 

"With your brother's absence alone, there is already a rift. Why not just continue it altogether?" Emil says.

Indeed, Emil's words are always right. I am silent for a moment, thinking about it. Should it have been like this from the beginning? I ask myself in my heart. 

"Okay, Mil, I will think about it later," I said to Emil. 

Shortly after, Emil takes her leave. Because she has to meet her partner has been waiting for him. Emil even tells me to visit him soon. After Emil leaves, my event finally ends.

I have changed my clothes. As usual, I wear my favorite long dress. I start walking towards the lobby of the building and look for my parents. Shortly after, I see Axel approaching me from a distance.

"Why is he approaching me?" I wonder in my mind.

"Why did you come to me?" I ask sarcastically. 

"Of course, to take you with me," Axel replies, looking around. "Huh? Why? Hasn't the event ended?" I ask in surprise.

"Have you forgotten? You are already Mrs. Axel. Of course, you have to go home with me to my house," Axel says firmly. 

I am instantly silent and unmoving. My gaze feels empty.

Shortly after, a brand-new Rolls Royce car arrives right In front of us. I had forgotten for a moment that I was already married. 

"Come on, get in!" Axel says. I remain silent with an empty gaze. "Hey! What are you doing? Come on, get in quickly!" Axel says again, already inside the car. 

I finally realize and get into the car. Throughout the journey, I remain silent, staring out of the car window. I still can't believe that. I am married and no longer living with my parents.

Axel keeps looking at Summer. He also did not expect that his marriage would go so smoothly. Now, he has a wife who is very beautiful and adorable. Although his goal in marriage was only to preserve his assets, Axel also feels lucky to have Summer.

Since Axel's private house is not yet Finished, Axel takes Summer to his parent's house. Axel does not tell Summer about it until a few moments before they arrive. Finally, Axel tells Summer he will take her to his parents' house. Summer is shocked beyond words. Previously, Summer remembered that after their wedding, they would live separately from their respective families. Another argument begins.
