Axel looked different when he came to pick me up at Varel's place. His behavior resembled that of a jealous boyfriend due to the presence of another man next to, his girlfriend. I'm not saying that, Axel is jealous of Varel, but his actions seem to reflect that way. It's just my assumption. The truth might be that he's fed up with me always causing trouble.
When he raised his voice and asked me not to talk much, I saw another side of Axel. Perhaps this time, his anger was veiled with disappointment. Could he be disappointed seeing me with another man? His behavior sometimes makes it difficult for me to gauge his feelings towards me.
I don't want to deal with Axel anymore. I feel like disappearing from this world or living in a secluded area where people don't know me. I never expected that the decision I made would be so difficult to endure.
In the car, sitting side by side with no conversation whatsoever, Axel remained silent, focused on driving, while I stared ahead, not knowing what to talk about until Axel who asked me first. I thought Axel might apologize first. I was wrong. Axel didn't apologize; instead, he interrogated me.
"Who is that guy, and how did you end up with him?" Axel asked, with a slightly curt tone.
"Why are you asking? It's none of your business," I replied.
Axel felt upset with what Summer said. He felt entitled to know everything because now Summer was his wife. Axel even forgot about the contract with Summer, blinded by his unconscious jealousy.
"What did you say? None of my business? Of course, it is!" Axel said again, annoyed.
"Let me remind you, if you think being my husband gives you the right to meddle in all my affairs, you're wrong! Don't you remember one of the clauses in the contract stating that we shouldn't interfere in each other's business?" Summer clarified.
Axel felt like he was hit with a huge hammer hearing what Summer said. He forgot that his current status with Summer was based on a contract, not with love. Axel began to ponder as if he had just woken up from a long dream.
"Ah, right. I went too far," Axel said in his mind.
After arriving at Axel's parents' house, Axel got out of the car and was greeted by his driver, who was about to move the car into the garage. Meanwhile, Summer looked dazed and didn't know what to say or do. She followed Axel down from the car because Axel did the same.
Is this his parents' house? What if we run into them later? What should I say? I can't possibly tell them that their son left me stranded on the road. I murmured to myself very quietly.
Upon entering the luxurious house, I was impressed by the European-style interior. The dynamic arrangement of the rooms made the house look grand and Luxurious. Axel kept walking without looking back, and I followed him.
"If I'm alone here, I might get lost," I said to myself.
After passing through several corridors, we finally reached the door of a room with automatic door handles.
Axel began entering a code to open the door. When he opened it, I was surprised at the size of the room. Without being asked by Axel, I entered and looked around.
"This is my room, and we will sleep here," Axel said.
"What? We? Sleep together here?" I asked, emphasizing what Axel had just said.
"Yes, we. Who else? Do not think we'll be in separate rooms. We won't!" Axel replied.
I always thought we would stay in separate rooms even though we were at his parents' house. The magnificent and luxurious house wouldn't make us suspicious if we slept in separate rooms. But, it turned out to be different. I even once saw a movie where a contractually married couple lived in separate rooms so, as not to interfere in each other's affairs. They got married for their interests.
Thinking about it, I didn't expect to experience what I saw in the movie. However, the implementation was a bit different. And who would have thought that I would marry someone I met through a dating app? Should I blame Emil for all of this? But this is something I chose on my own without any influence from anyone, so I have no right to blame anyone.
Living with a man I recently met feels strange, and our change in status happened rapidly, leaving me still a bit shocked. I suddenly heard the sound of running water from the bathroom, it seemed like Axel had just taken a shower. I don't know why? But suddenly, I started feeling anxious. I don't know what I was thinking at that moment.
I was still very awkward. So I sat on the sofa near the bed. Shortly after, Axel came out of the bathroom without any clothes, wearing only a towel that covered his private parts. I was startled and immediately closed my eyes with both hands.
Axel was equally surprised and apologized, then went back into the bathroom. My face turned red, and I felt hot, even though The room was Very Cold due to central air conditioning.
"What is he doing? Is he doing it on purpose? So annoying," I muttered, irritated. Soon after, I heard Axel calling me from inside the bathroom.
"Summer!" Axel shouted. I approached the bathroom door. "Yes," I shouted back from behind the door.
"Can you fetch my clothes from the wardrobe? I forgot to bring them earlier," Axel said.
"Does he think I'm his servant? Doesn't he realize that I'm already with him?" I grumbled,
"Yes, wait a moment," I shouted back at him.
As I looked for his clothes, I was confused and couldn't find the clothes Axel had asked for. I only saw neatly arranged shirts and jackets in the wardrobe. Then I saw a stack of collared shirts.
"Does he mean these? I can't find regular shirts here. Oh well, I'll take these," I said to myself.
I approached Axel again and handed him the clothes. However, Axel suddenly shouted my name from the bathroom, surprising me.
"SUMMER!!!" Axel shouted.
