Zhao Xinrui wanted to ask, but felt too embarrassed since they had just met.
Over the next two days, the two of them went out early and returned late, visiting the Longmen Grottoes, Luoyang Museum, White Horse Temple, Yingtianmen Ruins, and Luoyang Ancient Tomb Museum, among other sites. They didn't make it to Mount Laojun, which was closer to Bei Hu Province. Li Shi figured he would visit there another time.
For him, these trips were also an opportunity to gather inspiration for his creative work, whether in calligraphy or in painting and photography, he always had to travel extensively.
During these two days, he made some progress and wrote two pieces of calligraphy, one of which was exquisite.
On the twentieth at midday, they left the Luoyang Museum and took a cab back to the university town.
After sharing a lunch, Li Shi said goodbye to Zhao Xinrui, checked out of his hotel room, and hailed a ride-sharing car directly to the high-speed rail station.
