Doctor's Surgery

After so much of care, the day of surgery finally arrived for them. All was fine and Vale finally gave Beck a 'goodbye', to which Beck responded by a kiss on her cheeks as she lay down on her bed that was being led to the I.C.U.

After she was transferred to the bed by nurses, Vale made herself comfortable. She decided to be on the bed which was converted to a three- fourth slanting position so that she was able to sit up until the doctor arrived. Fifteen to twenty minutes were over. By that time, Dr. Sebastian came with two other doctors Dr. Olgy and Dr. Beverly. They got ready with their surgical instruments, anaesthesia, antibiotics and other things to begin the procedures for the surgery.

In about half-an-hour, Vale was given anaesthesia that was not very mild. The doctors slowly began the procedure. They hoped it will be completed by one-and-a-half hours. As the process reached to some point, they were disappointed. They were worried this will prove to be fatal for her life.

Although the kidney was removed, they had no hopes that Vale will live. In moments, the misery that followed was that Vale breathed her last. The doctors told Beck about it immediately. But he was deeply shocked on knowing the news.
