The next morning, Mollie woke up feeling happy and content. She'd spent the night wrapped in Jirawut's arms, listening to the sound of his heartbeat. It had been an intimate moment that she would hold dear to her heart.
"Good morning," Jirawut said, smiling at her.
"Good morning," Mollie replied. "How did you sleep?"
"Like a baby."
Mollie smiled; she never thought her young husband could talk in such raunchy terms.
"I hope you didn't do anything crazy last night," Mollie teased.
"Maybe just a little," he replied.
Mollie turned to face him, staring into his eyes.
"We have to go to a meeting today," she reminded him.
"I know," he said.
"Don't forget to shave," she added, grinning.
"Okay," Jirawut agreed. "If you don't mind, I'd like to ride with you."
"I wouldn't dream of it."
