This was the information Albrecht received when he equipped the Eye of Judgment and used his skill 'Zecian Clairvoyance'on the masked man. It was clear that he was human... but his information was locked by some sort of secret skill that blocked the System.

"Who is that guy?" Albrecht asked. There was no information about him in the System, and it bothered him.

That adventurer was strong enough to kill Claude with one stab. Also, it exerted intense pressure that brought even the heroes down to their knees. All of them kneeled on the ground and coughed up blood—

— well, except for Albrecht. The System protected him in time. Thanks to the System, he was able to withstand the pressure emanating from the masked man.

"Who was that?" Some of the adventurers started murmuring amongst themselves.

Since the masked man took the kill under their noses, he got to decide what to do with the reclaimed Pantheos Kingdom. However, after careful deliberation, it was agreed that Albrecht would own the kingdom.

It was stated in the agreement that whoever drove off the horde or killed the guardian of the Second Outerlayer would claim ownership of the kingdom. And Albrecht had already driven off the horde before the masked man went in for the kill.

Although he barely knew the guy, Albrecht felt a pang in his heart when he watched Claude turn into a thousand sparkles of shining light. He was dead, and this made his sister the next in line as the ruler of the Whitelock Tribe.

From within the ring where Albrecht transported Anastasia Whitelock, Albrecht could sense the sadness and sorrow from her.

He badly wanted to console her, but he knew he couldn't carelessly take her out since the masked man might still be nearby.

In the end, all that Albrecht could do was mourn in silence with her.

The subjugation was finished, and the adventurers dispersed. They all got their fair share of Zecian Crystals from the defeated beasts so they were somehow satisfied with the raid.

Some of the adventurers saw Albrecht in a new light, while some glared at him for being too lucky for his liking. The majority of the adventurers concluded that Albrecht was just lucky, however, especially those who came from the Rilegarthe Guild— his previous guild.

"Great job out there, kid. You really carried us on that one." Rhydderch approached Albrecht, patting him on the shoulder. He held great respect for Albrecht since he could use his skills pretty well despite being inferior to him.

Cainsz and everyone in the Heroes of Lomenschwaal party also congratulated Albrecht, they couldn't wait to bring him with them on another quest.

"We're going for a couple of drinks at the Rusty Key Tavern tonight, I hope you could join us." Cainsz offered. "In any case, what are you going to do with the Pantheos Kingdom? Are you going to make it your own... or are you going to donate it to another kingdom?"

Albrecht shrugged. Honestly, he hadn't thought this far into the future. All he knew was that a kingdom would generate a lot of resources if he planned it right. But then again, it's not like he was fully prepared for such a heavy responsibility.

"One at a time, Albrecht, one at a time." He muttered to himself as he headed his separate way. He realized that he had to make a quick stop at Caharsa City.

Eighth Outerlayer, Ground Zero, Palace of Lycanne

"Are you absolutely certain about this, my elderly son?" A man with a thick animal robe enwrapped around his back leaned on the wooden club he was wielding. He sat on a throne, overlooking a huge room where a line of servants bowed before his presence.

"I am certain, Father, the Whitelock Tribe had fallen." Replied the son, who proudly brought the news to his father.

"And what of the other tribes?"

"There's unrest amongst the other tribes, and a possible coup or a civil war would break out in the Whitelock Tribe. A massive shift in power is bound to happen... I think it is high time that we bring the vampires under our subjection, oh king." One of the king's advisers spoke.

"And this human you spoke of?"

"He's nothing important, Father. He won't make it past the Fifth Outerlayer in his current strength. Even if he tried to help the Whitelock Tribe, he won't stand a chance against us."

"I see. This is certainly good news." The man spoke as he leaned backward.

It seemed like the heavens are looking generously at him.

Second Outerlayer, Ground Zero, Outskirts of Whitelock Village

The Whitelock Village is home to the Whitelock Tribe of vampires. Some could even call it the Whitelock Clan since the residents in the village were direct descendants of the powerful vampire called Augustus Whitelock.

In past traditions, it was stated that a half-descendant (someone with mixed blood) would automatically get kicked out of the village. However, the tribe had become lax with half-descendants.

At one point, Whitelock Village had experienced a massive decline in childbirth, so much so that they finally allowed half-descendants to live with them. This has caused outrage, but it was for the survival of the tribe.

"Our uncle actually married someone from the Darkwater Tribe, that's why our cousins are half-descendants. I don't like them." Shiroi continued explaining in between her bouts of tears.

She still couldn't believe that her brother was dead. However, she couldn't mourn for long since there were more pressing problems at hand.

Right now, her elder cousin, Hunter Whitelock, was trying to convince the village elders about his capabilities as a leader. He planned to take over as village chief as soon as the Whitelock fell out of power— and he promised to abolish the tradition of looking down on half-descendants.

Some of the village chiefs were against this. However, they've acknowledged Hunter's capability as a leader. In a contest of strength, he was stronger than Claude Whitelock (it should be mentioned that he was five years older than him).

Today was another day of Hunter's campaign. He could tell that Theresa Whitelock was going to die soon due to the sleeping sickness, and it was only a matter of time before he inherited the throne. He decided to make another trip to the village elders to coax them about the position.

As he was making his way to the house of the village elders, however, he saw a young girl running towards it. She had an anxious aura in her, and it made Hunter a tad bit nervous.

The young girl didn't even bother announcing her arrival at the house of the village elders. She just swung the door open with all her strength.

"It's sister Anastasia! And she brought a human with her!" The young girl screamed.
