Abominable Snowman Subjugation

[Abominable Snowman (A-Rank)— legend has it that the Abominable Snowman was born from the regrets and the desire to live that emanated from the people killed in the snow. It is extremely territorial, and only comes out of its cave when it's their mating season]

In the inner layers, the Abominable Snowmen were considered common beasts. But here in the Third Outerlayer, it was considered a boss.

Albrecht knew about it, that's why he was aware of a number of ways how to deal with it.

Thanks to Drujinn taking the lead, they were able to make their way to the cave where the Abominable Snowman lived. If it hadn't been for him,

Albrecht and his group would've taken a couple of hours looking for the Abominable Snowman.

After all, there were at least thirty caves where the Abominable Snowman could possibly live based on the information he got from the System.

"Here it is... I'm going to attract it by firing off an arrow. Once it comes out of the cave, we're going to surround it from afar." Drujinn explained.

Even though he didn't say it, Albrecht knew exactly what Drujinn was thinking. He would provide assistance, but he wouldn't put his life on the line.

This would be a good time to prove whether Albrecht was really the reincarnation of Beacon Frost or not. If he knew the weakness of the Abominable Snowman, then it would further establish the fact that he was Beacon Frost.

It was hard for Albrecht to suppress his smile since he knew exactly what the Abominable Snowman's weakness was.

"I'm counting on you, my descendant," Albrecht smoothly responded, bowing his head towards Drujinn while he pressed his hands together in a prayer-like manner. This was the formal greeting of the Frost Elves.

Drujinn was taken aback. Only the Frost Elves race knew what the formal greeting was. How could a human know it?!

Albrecht's lips curved upward as he directed his gaze at the mouth of the cave. He then whispered at Anastasia and Claude. "I'll be dealing with the Abominable Snowman, the two of you sit tight and do nothing."

"What are you talking about?" Claude hissed back. "We're here to help. You have to let us help you."

"You're going to help me by sitting still. If you fought the Abominable Snowman, it might force you to show your true identity. You're vampires. If the Frost Elves found out, there will be a war between vampires and frost elves." Albrecht calmly returned.

Before Claude could say anything else, Anastasia grabbed him by the hand and shook her head. She already decided to wholly put her trust in Albrecht. This was one of those times wherein they should follow through with their conviction.

"Brother, we have to trust him. He can do this." Anastasia said.

Honestly, Claude was still not convinced about Albrecht. After receiving the revelation, he realized that Albrecht was just a regular human. He was fooled.

But even after all that, his sister trusted him. His sister sees something in him, and whatever it was, he also caught a glimpse of it.

At the end of the day, Albrecht was their only hope if they wished to cure their mother.

Heaving a sigh, Claude finally agreed. He and his sister walked away just when Drujinn readied his bow.

"No way... is he going to fight alone?" Drujinn asked himself. There was no time to think about it, though, since he already fired an arrow into the cave.

Wooosh~

Schrkkrk~

The sound of breaking ice could be heard reverberating inside the cave. A deafening roar then echoed from the depths, before a steady thumping sound grew louder.

Six seconds later, the Abominable Snowman appeared from the cave, and a wave of frost hit Albrecht like a wave.

Thanks to the Robe of Comfortable Temperature, he wasn't frozen in place. "Wow, so that's what an Abominable Snowman looked like. This is the first time I saw one in person."

To be fair, the Abominable Snowman didn't look like a snowman at all. It looked like the rotting corpse of someone who froze to death and thawed.

It roared in front of Albrecht, and he smelled the ghastly scent of a rotting corpse. He 'blegh'ed in disgust, wondering how the Abominable Snowmen bred in their mating season.

He couldn't bear to imagine the Abominable Snowmen having children so he dismissed the thought. At the same time, he dodged its fist as it slammed it on the snowy ground.

A light tremor was felt due to the Abominable Snowman's attack.

[You have activated the skill 'Sariel Death—]

Albrecht deactivated the skill before the Frost Elves saw it. For a moment, he forgot that the Sariel Death Scythe was a vampire-exclusive skill. It would put him in a bad light if he did it.

"Wait..." Albrecht let out. He just thought of a good idea.

[Skill 'Saddim's Touch' activated]

The Abominable Snowman slammed its fist on the ground again, but it missed Albrecht by a mile.

Without missing a beat, Albrecht reached into his spatial storage space and grabbed a weapon there.

He just remembered that there were legendary weapons stored in there that he couldn't use.

But now, thanks to his skill 'Saddim's Touch', he could use any weapons in there. If he could use Sariel Death Scythe despite it being an exclusive skill/weapon for a vampire, then surely he could use weapons that only legendary heroes could use.]

[Lance of Atlantis equipped]

A lance with the power of ice and fire appeared in Albrecht's hand, and he used it to propel himself toward the Abominable Snowman.

In the chest cavity of the Abominable Snowman is a glowing crystal. However, that's not its weakness, it was just a misdirection.

Its real weakness was its eyes, and Albrecht aimed at it.

Out of desperation, the Abominable Snowman raised its hand and protected itself from the attack. It sensed that Albrecht was aiming at its eyes.

"Eat this!" Albrecht screamed, stabbing his Lance of Atlantis in its glowing green left eye.
