Driving Away The Lycanne Army

Even though the entire house was dilapidated, Theresa Whitelock maintained her composure. Based on the aura that Canhinne emitted, she knew that he wasn't there to kill her.

He was there to strike fear in the entire Whitelock Tribe and bring them under their subjection.

But that was just the front of it. What Theresaw Whitelock didn't know was that Canhinne fancied her.

If the invasion was successful, he planned to take her in as one of his concubines. And since her entire tribe was reliant on her for survival, she'd have no choice but to agree to his ridiculous demands.

(Well, this was also one of the reasons why Albrecht didn't think twice about stabbing Canhinne in the heart.)

When Canhinne grabbed Albrecht by the neck, Theresa wanted to unleash her pure Whitelock Bloodline and fight Canhinne to death.

To her, Albrecht was her true love's kiss. There was no way she was going to let him die after he saved her life.

However, Anastasia and Claude didn't bother going after Canhinne when he took Albrecht. This confused Theresa and she leaned in to ask why.

"I thought we were going after my true lo— er, I mean, Albrecht," Theresa asked.

Anastasia and Claude turned toward their mother before they smiled.

"Don't worry, Mother, Albrecht tamed the Mythical Blood Dragon, and he talked with an Overseer. There's no way he couldn't deal with a mere lead commander." Claude confidently replied.

[Ti-ring~]

[You've leveled up!]

"What's going on?" Albrecht asked. He opened his status window to see if his level really went up.

Level: 2

Shop level:0

Stats: Locked, level up to view your stats]

Albrecht scratched his head in slight confusion when he looked at his stats.

His level really went up, but he only leveled up once. Adding to that, a shop level was added to his information, and his stat points are still locked.

From the information he received from the System, this was the first time this happened. Mysteriously enough, the other Albrechts never experienced something like this. Even the new function 'System Shop' was a first for him.

In hindsight, this was the first time that such a scenario happened. Based on the experience of the other Albrechts, they didn't dare kill the Lead Commander of the Lycanne Army. But Albrecht did the opposite.

Of course, there's bound to be a difference.

Since there was still chaos in the Whitelock Tribe, Albrecht decided to close off the System windows and focus on the situation at hand.

To his surprise, however, the vampires and werewolves stopped their scuffle. Both sides were looking at him as if he was some sort of anomaly.

Apparently, he was staring off into space after he killed Canhinne Lycanne, and it creeped the hell out of the werewolves.

They believed that Albrecht was a werewolf killer and that the Whitelock tribe had hired him to defend their race.

If that were the case, then it was also safe to assume that the Whitelock Tribe was aware of the upcoming invasion. How did they know that the Lycanne Army was going to attack?

In any case, this gave the werewolves a moment to rethink their decision. A few seconds later, they tucked their tails and ran.

The entire Lycanne Army was out of the Whitelock Tribe's territory in a matter of seconds. As for the vampires who were defending their race with their lives on the line, they also stared at Albrecht with uncertainty.

His divine weapon managed to kill a formidable werewolf in one blow and it scared them half to death. If such a thing was possible, then it might probably be easy for him to kill a vampire as well.

Just the thought turned their legs into jelly, and they didn't dare approach Albrecht.

Since the house of the chieftess was destroyed, everyone in it saw what transpired outside. There was a moment's pause, and then Theresa leaned in towards Walterford to tell him something.

"Please call Albrecht, I need to talk to him." Theresa softly requested.

Nodding his head, Walterford went on his way to call Albrecht.

Meanwhile, Anastasia and Claude remained by the bedside of their mother. She was still severely weakened, but more than anything else, she was alive.

Also, the threat to their Whitelock Tribe was unintentionally driven off by Albrecht.

A few minutes later, everyone was gathered in the destroyed abode of the chieftess. Albrecht stood in front of Theresa Whitelock while her children stood beside Albrecht.

Walterford maintained his position by the doorway and the maids lined up by the farthest wall opposite Theresa. Even though the wall was not there anymore, they still stood there.

Theresa hiccuped before she turned away, coquettishly clearing her throat before she shifted her gaze back at Albrecht.

"Albrecht, thank you so much for saving my tribe." Theresa gratuitously spoke with a gentle voice. "And t-thank you for saving my life." She continued.

"..."

"..."

There was a brief pause, and Albrecht didn't respond since it seemed like Theresa had more to say.

Once again, she turned away, and with a bashful voice, she continued. "I-if you're okay with a widow like me... then I'm willing to... be your woman."

Her face reddened after that. However, she wasn't the only one who got embarrassed.

Panicking, Anastasia grabbed Albrecht by his arm and blurted at her mom. "M-m-mom?! What are you talking about?"

As for Claude, he merely turned away and sighed. He knew that his sister fancied Albrecht, but there was no way he could say that to his mom.

Eleventh Outerlayer, Fjormir's Realm,

It was another boring day for the Overseer of Fire, Fjormir, as she granted hundreds of C-Rank Blessings to other adventurers in other dimensions. It had been years since she had granted a special blessing to anyone.

The last time she did, that adventurer became a villain, and he brought about the destruction of his world.

Because of that, Fjormir vowed to never give an S-Rank Fire Blessing, let alone an SSS-Rank Fire Blessing.

'Also, my followers only use my fire blessing for explosions. All they do was hurl fireballs here and there like some maniacs.' Fjormir said to herself. 'Their unrefined way of using my Fire Blessing hurts my eyes.'

Ting!

Just then, Fjormir felt a jolt of electricity in her as she sensed her divine blessing on someone she's never met before. It was a mysterious feeling, sort of like deja vu.

Adding to that, the person had special attunement to the fire element. Fjormir felt like she had to get to know this person no matter what.

"Albrecht Stein, huh, interesting~" She muttered to herself as she looked through the Lake of Mystical Fire in her realm.
