First Mystic Rank Adventurer

Fwoooosh~!

"Whoa! The Zecian Portal is opening!"

"No way! Did they clear the Double Dungeon?"

"Wait, the Double Dungeon was at least an F-Rank and a B-Rank, right?"

"Ain't no way they defeated that."

"Then... are they dead? That's the only explanation here, right?"

"Yeah... they're dead. It hasn't even been that long since it turned into a Double Dungeon. There's no way they cleared it that fast."

The Heroes of Relics as well as Rhydderch Wintermoon overheard the comments of the adventurers and they couldn't help but feel a tad bit frustrated.

On one hand, the Heroes of Relics knew that the adventurers who went in there were from their guild. If they died, then they'd have a slight shortage of Gold-Rank Adventurers.

On the other hand, Rhydderch didn't want to believe that Albrecht would die that easily. That's why he still prayed that adventurers would come out of the Zecian Portal.

Fwooooosh~!

Step.

Step.

Hex Cruxio was the first one to come out, followed by Erwin, and Natalie. The groups of adventurers watched as they numbered the headcount of adventurers who were coming out.

Sylvia followed soon after. There were no casualties in the Spiderweb Party.

"ALBRECHT! ALBRECHT!" Rhydderch started screaming.

Step.

Step.

Guarding the rear was Albrecht, and he came out with more scratches and bruises compared to the Spiderweb Party.

"Oi~ kid! You're alive!" Rhydderch was celebrating more than anyone else when Albrecht came out. He was jumping up and down as if he had won the lottery. "I knew you would pull through! That's a Double Dungeon but you cleared it with no sweat."

Albrecht forced a chuckle out of his mouth. "What do you mean no sweat, guild master? We almost died." Albrecht let out.

The commotion became louder as the party came out of the Zecian Portal. They managed to clear a Double Dungeon without casualties, which was weird, considering that they were only Gold-Rank Adventurers.

And judging from the Bronze Tag their porter wore, he should've died in the Double Dungeon but no. He was alive.

Sun Wu stole a glance at Albrecht who was casually talking to the guild master of the Lomenschwaal Guild. He clicked his tongue. "Let's get out of here, we don't have any further business here." Sun Wu mumbled to himself as he directed the Heroes of Relics from the crowd. They silently went away, their inferiority getting the better of them as Albrecht got all the center of attention.

As the commotion died down, Albrecht decided to return to the City of Caharsa, but then he realized that he had all the loot from the dungeon raid so he had no choice but to go with the Spiderweb Party to the Rilegarthe Guild.

After saying goodbye to Cosmos and Rhydderch, Albrecht headed with the group to the Rilegarthe Guild so he could get his due reward.

The moment they stepped foot in the guild, their presence was celebrated. They were able to conquer a Double Dungeon, after all.

In total, Albrecht got 12 Gold Coins, which was decent. It's actually a lot of money, but Albrecht had a vague understanding of what a lot of money is.

He was an ex-member of the Heroes of Relics after all, and 12 Gold Coins is a measly sum for them. In fact, he gets five times the amount of this every month, assuming that he continues his contract with the Lomenschwaal Guild.

"Oh, and the Goblin King..." Albrecht casually said as he brought out the Goblin King Corpse in the clearing in front of the guild.

The adventurers' eyes went wide as they saw the size of the Goblin King. It was a huge dungeon boss monster, and some of them weren't even confident that they could take it on head-to-head.

And most of the adventurers in the Rilegarthe Guild were already at Gold Rank, so they were pretty formidable in terms of clearing dungeons.

With the Goblin King, Albrecht received an additional 2 Gold Coins.

He insisted that the reward be split between the five of them. Even though he basically soloed the F-Rank Dungeon Boss, he didn't hog the reward money all to himself.

"Thank you so much, Albrecht." Hex repeatedly expressed his thanks while clasping Albrecht's hand. "Thanks to you I'd be able to go home tonight."

"Thank you, Albrecht." Erwin and Natalie bowed their heads. As for Sylvia, she also muttered a soft thanks after everyone was done with theirs.

News about the clarity of the Third Outerlayer soon reached the nearby kingdoms, and they had no idea who did it.

At the moment, the Fourth Outerlayer where the Mythic Blood Dragon resides is not yet cleared, but a couple of adventurers were already attempting it.

Different guilds race each other in the battle of who would clear the Fourth Outerlayer first. Adventurers with the water and ice element were recruited by the dozen, due to the fact that the Fourth Outerlayer was literally an oven clocked in the highest temperature.

During this time, Albrecht decided to take a rest. He took a break from all adventuring and decided to spend an idle life in the City of Caharsa.

He stayed with the Rosethorns, attracting the animosity of Asvi Winefield who couldn't even do anything since Yulie Rosethorn was stronger than him. (Asvi Winefield is the Gold-Rank Adventurer who badmouthed Albrecht when he was attacked by the Tri-Horn Minotaur)

Albrecht helped with the matters of the city, even helping the farmers to set up another plot of land for crops. He was living the life, all the while using his Gold Coins as if they were retirement money.

During those three weeks, he didn't go on a single mission or quest, he practically rejected every offer to go on dungeon raids as well.

Then one day, news about the Mythical Blood Dragon being defeated circulated all over the neighboring kingdoms. Furthermore, there was a rumor that someone soloed the powerful dungeon boss. It was an adventurer from the far kingdom of Kianala.

He was given the title, of the first Mystic Rank Adventurer, and he was deemed the strongest adventurer to currently exist.
