Steps To Conquer The Seventh Outerlayer

The temporary contract that Azura handed Albrecht was slightly better compared to the Lomenschwaal Guild's temporary contract. He'd receive a hundred gold, then and there if he agreed, also he get to have a raid pass on one of the dungeons owned by the Rilegarthe Guild.

And the only thing he needed to do was show up during the conquer attempt of the Seventh Outerlayer. There were no disadvantages if he were to accept the offer.

It would be dangerous, sure, but Albrecht knew that he'd easily survive the Seventh Outerlayer.

"First, I have to prepare... and in order to prepare... I need to get to the Eleventh Outerlayer." Albrecht muttered to himself.

Two days from now, the attempt to conquer the Seventh Outerlayer will commence, he had forty eight hours to get to the Eleventh Outerlayer.

After all, that's where the legendary Overseer of Fire Fjormir was located.

In order to get there, Albrecht needed to collect a certain item in the Fifth Outerlayer, right in the D-Rank Undead Hidden Dungeon. That item is important to Fjormir, but Albrecht didn't want to give it to her since it's one of the items he needed to use during the conquer attempt of the Seventh Outerlayer.

What he needed to give Fjormir was the Mother of Life Cooking Pot and the Protection Symbol of Gehenna. Fjormir knew that this existed, but during her battle against a High Elder, she lost possession of this. It was the perfect gift to Fjormir.

Also, Albrecht needed the Mystic Fire Stake to prove his loyalty as Fjormir's presumed follower. All in all, he needed three items in order to appease the Overseer of Fire, Fjormir.

"That's just the start of it. I still need to overcome the trial in the Eleventh Outerlayer, and then acquire an audience to Fjormir before receiving her blessing and asking a request from her."

It was a lot of work for two days, but Albrecht knew that he could do it within the time limit of two days, give or take.

If worse comes to worst, then he'd just bring that certain item from the Fifth Outerlayer and give it to Fjormir. It would give him a great disadvantage for the Seventh Outerlayer, but at least it was a contingency plan.

"For now, I have to go back to Caharsa, then ask Yulie for help. I'm sure she'll help me out with the Hidden Dungeon."

Albrecht arrived at the City of Caharsa in two hours, and there, he met a certain adventurer who stood in front of the Caharsa Guild as if to gatekeep anyone from entering. He watched as they unnecessarily stopped people from entering the guild, just to let them go in after confirming their identities.

From afar, one of them saw Albrecht walking towards the guild. His eyes went wide with shock as hatred clearly appeared in his expression. Judging from his gaze, Albrecht could tell that he was displeased to see him.

"Finally, we met," A semi-muscular man with black hair and brown eyes stood in Albrecht's way, a smug plastered on his face. It was none other than Asvi Winefield.

Honestly, Albrecht knew who he was, but he couldn't be bothered right now. "I'm Albrecht Stein, I need to go inside." He simply responded.

"We know who you are... in fact, I know who you are." Asvi Winefield said, putting his hand on Albrecht's shoulder.

In one glance, he saw that Albrecht had a Bronze Tag. His smirk turned into a smirk with bad intentions as he realized that he was way better than Albrecht. He exerted pressure on his grip on Albrecht's shoulder before he started talking down on him.

"I don't know who you are," Albrecht went in with the joke even though he knew who he was.

Asvi gritted his teeth and equipped his hammer. "Ahh, I see, you like joking, huh," Asvi began before swinging his oversized hammer.

In one smooth motion, Albrecht dodged the blow. He had no idea why Asvi was attacking him out of nowhere.

Then again, it'd been a couple of days since he became aware of his dislike towards him. Every time their eyes meet, Asvi would glare at him. It was obvious that he hated him.

"Yulie Rosethorn is out on patrol. Even if we beat you up, no one will come save you." Asvi called out.

This was just plain bullying, but no one stopped Asvi since they could more or less tell that Albrecht could handle him. After all, he cleanly dodged his mad swing of his hammer.

Asvi was the only one who believed that Albrecht was weak. That's why he didn't hesitate to attack him. He was too preoccupied with the fact that Yulie helped Albrecht out, to the point where he couldn't see the obvious.

"You're all alone, who's gonna save you now, huh?" Asvi let out as he propelled himself upward swinging his hammer as his downward momentum increased.

Albrecht dodged the blow by a hair's breadth, but the damage on the ground caused him to lose balance. He almost tripped, but he managed to scamper out of the way.

"Whoo~" Albrecht let out. A moment ago, he was in a bad mood since Asvi got in his way. But now, he got a unique skill for free so he didn't feel as bad anymore.

In fact, he was even thankful that he came across Asvi Winefield.

Meanwhile, Asvi felt a tad bit insulted since Albrecht equipped a hammer as well. Now he wanted to beat the living daylights out of him. "You think using the same weapon as me will make you a winner? Think. Again." In between words, Asvi started pounding at Albrecht.

But to Asvi's surprise, Albrecht seemed more confident than normal. The moment he dodged, a yellow glow seemed to envelop him. Albrecht activated his newfound skill.
