Conquering The Hidden Dungeon, Plus New Skills

In the Hidden Dungeon,

The Undead Bonesword Samurai was the only real threat in the Hidden Dungeon. Well, to be fair, there were his twelve disciples and the countless mobs, but Albrecht knew he could easily defeat them.

Right now, the Hidden Dungeon wasn't bound to open just yet, and Albrecht could take advantage of it by defeating the disciples one by one.

Before he exited the Hidden Dungeon a couple of moments ago, he had already located the Twelve Disciples. He didn't waste any time heading to the First Disciple before anything else.

'Ah right!'

As Albrecht headed to the First Disciple, he opened his System windows and saw that he still hadn't opened/claimed some of his quest rewards. Since he had a minute to spare, he opted to open them now, making a mental note that he should check the System Shop as soon as possible as well.

"Next time I shouldn't store them... I should just claim them right then and there. I guess it would turn into a bad habit if I keep on putting off my quest rewards." The realization just hit Albrecht after all this time.

[Opening Emergency Quest Rewards]

[Opening Quest Rewards Box]

[Mouse From The Past obtained]

[Ring Of Perseus obtained ]

[Skill Crystal x2 obtained]

[Ti-ring!]

[A new skill can be recorded in the Akashic Record of Space and Time]

[You have learned a new advanced skill 'Skill Transfusion']

[You have learned a new advanced skill 'Forceful Item Combination']

[Skill: Skill Transfusion (Unique, SS-Rank)

— A more advanced version of the skill 'Fusion'. While 'Fusion' allows the user to fuse skills that could be fused, the more advanced version 'Skill Transfusion', can fuse skills that couldn't be normally fused (for example, fusing firebolt and ice spikes).

— This is an advanced skill. Do note that fusing two skills together would result in forgetting the two skills.]

[Skill: Forceful Item Combination (Unique, SS-Rank)

— A more advanced version of the skill 'Combination'. While 'Combination' allows the user to fuse items that could be fused, the more advanced version, 'Forceful Item Combination', can fuse items that couldn't be normally fused.

— This is an advanced skill. Just like 'Combination', fusing two items together would result in the deletion of the two items. Furthermore, fusing two 'unfuseable' items together might result in failure, with the high possibility of destroying the failed items .]

"Whewsss... this is certainly a game-changer... I might use it on some of my skills and try things out. Who knows, maybe I could a super exclusive, one-of-a-kind skill." Albrecht said to himself.

His new skills gave him the freedom to fuse items and skills which shouldn't be fused. While there was a high risk that his items and skills would go to waste, there was a small chance that he could get a more advanced skill. It was certainly a gamble, and Albrecht knew he'd have to take advantage of it when the time comes.

Pretty soon, Albrecht found himself in front of the First Disciple of the Undead Bonesword Samurai. It looked like a statue, sitting forward as it leaned on its sword which was propped to the ground. It made it look like it was resting, but Albrecht knew otherwise.

When he got closer, he realized that the First Disciple was an undead as well. The dimly lit atmosphere of the dungeon just made it appear like a statue. "Uwah~ it looks scary," Albrecht said to himself when he realized that the First Disciple was at least three feet tall, upon closer inspection.

Creak~

Creak~

Sensing that there was someone in its vicinity, the First Disciple awoke in its slumber, looking up as its red eyes glinted in the darkness.

With a creepy groan, the First Disciple stood up, its bones creaking as the platform where he sat creaked as well. Portions of its flesh were gouged out, and half of its face had rotten as a corpse.

"Hopefully... it won't wake up the other disciples. Well, based on the System... there was no way all of them would wake up with the Undead Bonesword Samurai. So I guess I'm safe here." Albrecht said to himself, equipping his Legendary Moldbreaker since he felt like it would be effective against the sword user.

Graaayagh~

Ughhh~

Honestly, Albrecht had encountered and eliminated countless undead in the past. Even then, he still wasn't used to seeing one in the face. Wearing a face of absolute disgust, Albrecht held his Legendary Moldbreaker as the First Disciple came at him.

Swinging its sword, the First Disciple activated one of its skills 'Heavy Slash', and Albrecht dodged at the last second. Its attack managed to leave a crack in the concrete, which proved just how powerful that slash was.

This established the fact that every disciple in this Hidden Dungeon was B-Rank, and Albrecht knew that he couldn't let his guard down no matter what.

Leaning sideways, it was time for Albrecht to deliver a counterattack, swinging the Legendary Moldbreaker.

The First Disciple was not a B-Rank Monster for nothing. It immediately detected the strike and guarded its side with its sword. While the attack hit him, he was able to deflect it, only skidding a couple of meters before stopping to a halt.

Another groan came out of the First Disciple's mouth as it ran towards Albrecht in an aberrant manner. Wildly, it swung its sword, leaving Albrecht no time to breathe while he fended for himself.

Its attacks grew even stronger and more precise, and Albrecht was slowly getting overwhelmed. At this point, he felt like choosing the Legendary Moldbreaker, a heavyweight weapon, was not a wise decision.

[Presence detected.]

[Albrecht, be careful, another disciple is attacking you]

"What?!" As Albrecht swiveled his head to his six, getting a quick glimpse of another disciple that was supposedly about to attack him, he realized that the System was telling the truth.

Right behind him was the Second Disciple, strumming its oldened harp while it weakly shrieked.

A sound wave suddenly sliced through the air, flying straight at Albrecht's neck.
