TOME 10 PART 124; WHAT IS 'BEAUTY', 'PERCEPTION', 'TRUTH' AND 'REALITY'; TIME TO LEARN A BIT FROM NANNY MCPHEE

DAGARA PROVERB;

When you stare into the Flame, the Depths or the Most Brilliant Light...what you see is not 'actually the essence of that which you perceive' but rather a 'reflection of who you are'.

EXPLANATION

Nanny Mcphee is usually hired by Parents to babysit the 'Troublesome Children that are too much for them to handle'. She balances 'strictness' with 'softness' and initially resorts to 'the application of overwhelming...almost tyrannical force...even Magical Force...to break the Stubbornnes Of The Children and earn their 'Fear'. Yes, initially, it is their 'Fear' and not necessarily 'Respect' that she earns. The Children usually retaliate by trying to set 'Traps For Her' and 'Prank her in Painful Ways' and that is when she 'outsmarts them and teaches them the Virtue that comes with Age Old Experience'. They 'usually start to Respect her when a Trap they set for her almost catches someone it was not intended for and she intervenes'. Then she starts to get 'invested in their Personal Lives and Struggles' as well as the 'Struggles Of The Family as a Whole'. The 'lesson starts to shift from focusing solely on the Children to the Parents as well'. The 'Parents come to depend on her' but the 'Children see details that the Parents often miss such as 'an imposter lurking in the environs' or a 'threat to the Family Estate'.

With 'every lesson the Children learn'...a 'Mark Of Ugliness disappears from Nanny Mcphee's Face'. There is a 'Proverbial Meaning' to the 'Marks Of Ugliness' in that they are not only 'Skin Deep' but also to an extent 'reflect how the Children perceive Nanny Mcphee'. Their 'Fears', 'Mistrust', 'Trauma', 'Egos' and 'Sense Of Loss' actually 'manifest on Nanny Mcphee's Face as literal Marks Of Ugliness' and this is 'expressed by their tendency to vent their frustrations on her'. Those 'Marks correspond to the Conflicts raging within the Hearts Of The Children' which is why they 'mysteriously disappear on the Spot whenever the Children learn a New Lesson and start to appreciate Nanny Mcphee a little more'.

You could take it in two ways;

1. Nanny Mcphee is actually beautiful but the painful past experiences of the Children make her appear ugly in their Eyes.

2. Nanny Mcphee is actually ugly but the Children learn to see past that into the 'True Beauty in Her Heart'.

THEN THERE ARE THE LAWS THAT GOVERN THE WAY NANNY MCPHEE TUTORS

1. As long as the Children need her...she will be there...even if they don't want her to be.

2. When the Children no longer need her...even if they want her to stay beside them...she will no longer be with them.
