Chapter 5

Kagami.... _Sure being idolized was good, but it came at a price. For us weirdly rich yet not so famous children, jealousy tends to steal our so called friends at some point. The day we both scored the board, all my friends stopped talking to me.  'She's a witch, that's how she gets everything!," they said, and started bullying me ever since. I'm pretty sure my brother gets it too, but he keeps a strong face. Anyway, two weeks ago it became even worse. I was turning in the history books as class rep when some boy asked to aid me. Although i hated getting help, my tired from endless double periods body just gave a pass. But i didn't know the boy's smile meant a suicidal road. Two days later, i learnt he was one of my former mates' boyfriend, and had been sent to create a dispute. Each day after that they got even more reason to pour rotten food on my clothes, or drench them with stinky juice as you can see._

Instantly, Rintaro clenched a gap-free tight fist, and hammered the wall. Uniquely blocking awful odor coming off the once High and Mighty princess, she nasally offered words of comfort.

Rintarõ.... _I'll be sure to make them pay!_

But those words didn't please the young girl at all, in fact, they made her quiver with unnecessary chills.

Kagami.... _I'm grateful you feel sympathetic towards me, but the reason i called you here was to get me out, not dig an even deeper grave. So please refrain from infuriating Arai, Oyama and Hirano. Their families are pretty powerful politicians._

Haruno nodded back with ample pity to make anyone cry. Even pressed by a low "no", her sane mind couldn't ignore the sad plea of help, slowly slipping away from her highness' cornered face.

That said, Mii did quite a bang up job, burying her worries under squirming muscles of a deceiving smile.  As a fellow lady who once experienced bullying 'till getting help, the whole situation pushed Rin to pose a hand.

'Never ignore a person's willows because, no matter what they say, tears are a sign of silent hope," Takashi's words as he picked her up the ground, covered in plenty of hospital-needing bruises.

Rintarõ.... _(I may not have the physical strength to fight these girls, but my mind's years above their comprehension. I will show them what it means to mess with a friend of mine, even if she's the meanest person i've ever met!)_

She smiled following behind Kagami, exceedingly suffocating determination tightly wrapping her dainty body. Something she forgot about from her god-awful middle school.

Minutes later they stood by the door, simultaneous with an ear splitting lunch bell.

Rintarõ.... _You can take your bag and go to the gate. You'll see two ladies waiting for you. I'm gonna go plead with your teacher to get you a pass. I'll say some urgent family matter came up. Just make sure you don't anger anyone on your way out Oni, Hehe._

She winked at the delicate princess, glaring her take the bag and leave.      'Don't get any ideas, it was Lady Inata!," shouted Kagami pounding down the stairs.

Rintarõ.... _Yeah, that definitely sounds like Ayami. I wonder what face she made telling them to go with that family name?_ ( Oni lit.*Demon* ) _Oh well, i guess it's time to do a little bit of bully research, and mental damage on our special friends._

Minutes after some tinkering strode Haruno, through potted plants, down crystal stacked cement blocks, and back to the gate. One huge smile drooped below the edges of her mouth, knocking on hard glass for Lady Ito to open.

Rintarõ.... _It's all sorted, she can go home._

Asami.... _Eh! already!?, i guess i shouldn't have been worried._

Rintarõ.... _Yep!, Oh and Mii, i have one question. Why do you guys go to school on a Saturday?_

Kagami.... _Huh? Ohh er..., it's mandatory for third year students to start taking saturday classes from their second semester. All in the name of good success on entrance exams, for when we graduate._

Rintarõ.... _Wow!, you've got it tough. So i guess you'll be coming to this hell of a school on Monday?_

The princess remained quiet, face scowled with worry. She definitely loved the school, but current conditions weren't making it lovable. Closing the curtains on an acclaimed request, everyone got a ride home, awkwardly quiet all the way.
