The target i assumed would panic to spilling the truth, turned out to be non-existent.

Sparing a fake friend time to think, i helped her confidently discuss the matter within our student council room.

The rest? cake walk, as i lied about going to close our flourishing restaurant. Minutes later i snuck up with a shoulder for support, observing her nervously sweat from the devouring press. Fooled by her fiddling thumbs, my instant smile grew convinced it was all over.

Suddenly, her golden eyes sparkled with hope, flashing one final look of confidence.

Passing moments forward, she smoothly handled the situation, perfectly lying to grandly opened eyes of reporters. Soon after, despair knocked over, simultaneous with the dispersing crowd. Out of habit, my face creased with disgust, vanishing as quick as it came. But i could see miss Haruno was not pleased, and flecks of suspicion were glowing.

What could have made _miss perfect_ so cross enough to crush someone's dream, relationship, and possibly serene life? The confusing question rose up to the feets of Haruno's expressionless face.

Confidence shrunk to wilted misery, chaos ravenously hunting fear over the sinister girl's nature, not to mention upcoming abyss.

Rintarõ.... _i-i..I don--n't get it. Why did you do all this?, why did you decide to tell us everything now including the empress' involvement? Why didn't you just broadcast the summer snaps back then?_

Shrilled cries fought out her parched lips, readying once forgotten falls secluded to glistening eyes. She should have known, asking questions would simply make it worse. After all, her shrewd mind already knew the answers, blurred vision colliding with Sakae's heavily glossed grin, or so she presumed.
