Zi Rong Proposal & Promise Kept

A short pause came after what Qing Ning had said. Zi Rong had a look of surprise and a small smile could be seen on her face. Lei Jin was no stranger to the meaning behind his wife's words. It just so happened to be perfectly in line with what he needed anyways.

"Sister Zi Rong, There actually is something I'd like to ask about. I'm sure you'd like the challenge. However, if it is possible I'd like it refined as soon as possible." Lei Jin said, sitting back.

The Supreme Elder noticed this and was surprised that he was asking a disciple of the Artifact Hall rather than an elder of said hall. "If it is something you need refined. Why not ask the masters at the Artifact Hall? I'm certain one of them could do it. Unless you're trying to refine a palace artifact?" the Supreme Elder butted in before Zi Rong could speak.

"The Supreme Elder is right. This senior sister's ability to refine Artifacts is nothing grand compared to my master. So why ask for this senior sister's input instead of her master?" Zi Rong asked, curiously. Then she took a sip of her tea, hoping that she didn't just ruin the chances of their relationship going down the drain.

She could easily be removed as things currently stood since they had not formed a marriage agreement nor had they dual cultivated together. However just because they hadn't wouldn't mean that others would think the same. It would likely leave her in a bad position. That said she did feel like agreeing with the Supreme Elder would limit if not remove the potential issues from these words. But the tea did help to calm her nerves.

Lei Jin couldn't help but feel as though he would have revealed some things about himself too early if fully explained the situation so he pondered his thoughts to come up with a good response.

"I have my reasons for asking Sister Zi Rong this. Naturally not all are convenient to speak about for several reasons. However I can say that this is a matter that greatly benefits my Azure Void Cave Heaven. Naturally I would like to take the opportunity to allow this wife candidate to make her mark." Lei Jin said.

The supreme Elder picked up what he was saying behind the words. After all she was an 8th order Open Heaven Realm. Not to mention that she had received direct information that there were likely ink disciples in the Cave Heaven. So naturally it wouldn't be convenient to cause a ruckus around one of the most important parts of the Force as a whole. The Supreme Elder felt as though she had to eat her own words. She had been careless in her speech just before.

Zi Rong on the other hand was rather curious. Her future husband was giving her the opportunity for input first. He said it wasn't the only reason but still didn't this mean he trusted her? If so, wouldn't that make it easier for her to build close ties with him and marry. "I apologize for my words before. I didn't mean to question you Junior brother. I hope you can forgive this foolish senior sister." She said, slightly lowering her head and looked down at her hands holding the tea cup.

"There is nothing to forgive. Rather, I'll just ask you now. Is it possible to create an Artifact that could hold a sealed realm inside. Perhaps even a Universe world? I'd like to try and acquire one if possible. It would make it far easier for collecting resources when we are eventually allowed to leave and search." Lei Jin said, asking the question out right.

"I have never made one but I won't see why it wouldn't be possible. I'd actually like to try this. Though it would likely need to be used by a master of the Dao of space. I've only ever heard that the master of Void Land has this ability." Zi Rong said, looking worried.

"I am also a master of the Dao of Space! I will admit that it is not my best but I shouldn't be too inferior to others. I did learn everything from the documents of the ancient masters of this Dao. I should be able to make it work with little to no difficulty." Lei Jin said.

Zi Rong's eyes lit up with excitement hearing this. Then the other thought came to mind. "Won't this be expensive? I might fail a few times." Zi Rong said, with a moment of clarity.

"Don't worry about the cost of this Artifact. I will naturally purchase the required materials and help you with whatever you need during refinement." Lei Jin said, confidently.

"If you are going to help Disciple Zi Rong with this matter you should get in sync with her. To the same level as you are with Disciple Qing Ning. I trust you know what I mean?" The Supreme Elder said, giving Lei Jin a glance.

"I understand." Lei Jin responded to the Supreme Elder.

"Is Elder Mei available currently? It would be best to take care of this matter at once." Qing Ning said, hoping to get it over with quickly.

Lei Jin was surprised that QIng Ning wasn't just unfazed by this multiple wives thing. She was actively pushing for it. Something changed from before. Lei Jin couldn't put his finger on it. As such he chalked it up to something about women and thus would never understand.

"I'll summon Elder Mei here personally. To form the marriage contract. Is there something else you need, Disciple Lei Jin?" The Supreme Elder asked.

"This disciple has nothing to ask and nothing more he needs at the moment." Lei JIn said in response to the Supreme Elder.

"Alright then, I'll return next in 3 days time. That should give you enough time to recuperate." the Supreme Elder said, putting down her tea cup and standing up. "Oh, and there are several Elders I know who would like to speak with you. They will naturally follow back with me." She said before turning into a ray of light and disappeared across the sky before Lei Jin could tell her not to bring them yet.

Lei Jin let out a sigh. "Alright, I need to spend some time taking care of things. Head maid!" Lei Jin said, summoning the head maid.

"You summoned this lowly one, Young Master. What orders does the young master have for this one?" The head maid of the residence came at once.

"I want you to gather the servants in the residence that have no families of their own. Meaning they lack a partner. Even if it means some of the grounds go a few hours without trending to My aura will keep things tidy in the meantime. You can do this right?" Lei Jin said, making sure there wasn't a reason to come up with excuses.

"This one will perform this order at once." The head maid said. Though she remained put until she was dismissed.

"Good, also please bring anyone with injuries here along with those others I asked for. Illness or physical injury does not matter." Lei JIn said, having thought of this. If his Rainbow Light could heal such injuries it would be best if he got a clear idea on how far this innate legendary power could reach.

"Husband, what about the few who can't move? What will you do for them?" Qing Ning asked. She knew how much Lei Jin cared about those around him.

"That's right. If there are any who are incapable of being moved, note where they are and I'll heal them personally. Now go and carry it out. I'd like this matter handled as soon as possible." Lei Jin ordered.

"Yes Young Master, this maid servant will do as you command." The maid said, bowing deeply and then taking off to go carry out the order.

Ling Shi and Zi Rong instantly felt an odd sort of attraction. This degree of care he has for others is simply incomparable. Was this what someone who grew up on the Ink Battlefield? They both thought this as they looked at him.

"Junior Sister Ling Shi, how about the two of us talk later about things when Juniors Lei Jin and Zi Rong 'talk' later? I wouldn't want to leave you out." Qing Ning said, looking at Ling Shi with soft eyes, and a firm will.

"Yes, I'll listen to, Senior Sister's advice. There are a few things I'd like to ask you about later as well, Senior Sister Qing Ning." Ling Shi responded, blushing a little.

"Good, and this is for you Junior sister Zi Rong, you'll need this later. Be sure to practice diligently." Qing Ning said, as she handed a copy of the Yin side of the Dual Cultivation Method.

Zi Rong knew what this was at a glance. "Then I'll have to find a way to thank, Senior sister in the future." She said, with bright enthusiasm. She could tell this was the method that Lei Jin and Qing Ning had just done. Moreover, it had raised Qing Nings Cultivation substantially even though her partner was a newly formed Dao Seal realm.

Lei Jin had sat in the Hall waiting for his orders to be carried out. The others waited with him. It was silent which was good. He needed a bit of time and focus to control this expanded power he now had at his disposal. "Before those 2 months I had been said to be unbeatable in the 3rd rank open Heaven and below. Now, I might be considerably closer to invincible within the same range. I don't think I would have a decent chance of winning against a 4th rank but even that shouldn't be completely impossible." Lei Jin thought to himself while he waited.

Zi Rong and Ling Shi noticed the difference in strength Lei Jin was exuding. It was a calm and commanding aura about him. That on top of the ludicrous strength of his Qi was not something any ordinary cultivator could accomplish. Even some who had possessed divine bodies before him would have found the things Lei Jin does, difficult at best and impossible at worst.

A short time later the people who he had ordered to appear before him had been gathered. "Young master us servants are reporting as you have order." The head maid and head steward said in unison. The maid had acquired the stewards assistance in this matter. She showed good judgment in doing this.

"Good, now then. Let me take a look at the sick and injured first." Lei Jin said, as what seemed like strands of his Rainbow Light flooded the air and took their own individual. Each person was surrounded in a light that made them all feel warm inside as if the pain was fading away like a bad dream when waking. It didn't take him but a few moments to get this to finish. All of the several hundred sick and injured were healed in this short time frame.

Once the show was over Lei Jin spoke again. "Now for the other reason I have summoned you here." Lei Jin looked around and sighed in relief. "This is good, there are slightly more women than men." Lei Jin said.

"That's good, Husband. Everything will work out with this turn out." Qing Ning said. Hinting to the Zi Rong and Ling Shi that she knew what the intentions here were.

Both of them were quietly wondering why this was a good thing. Though to the mortals that were there none of them knew what the meaning was.

"I had made a promise to help a woman with a particular goal. This was to help her find a suitable man that matched herself. Now it wouldn't be right if I only did this for her. So I shall do it for all of you. Since there are more women than there are men the ratio doesn't matter. However, each man must find one woman. You have until tomorrow's end to find your partner or partners. If by that time you haven't found your partner I'll assign you one." Lei Jin said, which completely threw the servants off.

The servants began clamoring to find their own partners. It had just been they thought they wouldn't have been able to date within the residence. And thus held back any desires to be with any they liked. So it really didn't take them long to decide on this matter. Only half the day had passed. And it was too soon to call it night but it certainly wasn't noon.

"Good, that was fast. I am indeed pleased by this result. I will not restrict the love you all feel towards each other. Just make sure to love each other dearly and closely, become a family together. Do you understand my meaning correctly?" Lei Jin said, scanning the room.

"We humble servants understand the Young Masters' wishes and will not fail." All of the servants there kneeled and prostrated before him. Each giving multiple bows.

"Then go and begin. Live healthy lives and work well. I look forward to seeing the future." Lei Jin said, allowing them all to leave.

That bowing ritual was symbolic in meaning. All of the servants in the residence were considered under his roof and therefore he was the one who they would have to ask precision to marry anyone. It was as if parents had granted their children to marry. Bowing to one's parents was a sign of respect and thankfulness.

"Junior brother is quite good. Marrying off all the servants to each other like in one fell swoop." Ling Shi said, basically finalizing her ideas to marry Lei Jin.

"You honor this junior brother. I must say though I only did it for selfish reasons. I did want to allow the possibility to be infiltrated by an unseen enemy. Having lived here for several days in the Rainbow Light I give off is more than enough to keep them safe. And now that they are all married. We won't have to give any of the servants away either." Lei Jin said, sipping his tea.

"Husband, just secured a whole 2 generations of servants for himself." Qing Ning said, holding a hand over her mouth to laugh a little.

"Not only that, but having them form families in such an environment will provide them the ability to perpetually give offspring. I found this out when I had healed that one maids womb to perfection. Inside and likely even nearby to where my Rainbow Light is present will completely negate any adverse health effects of the woman." Lei Jin said, purposefully leaving the rest out intentionally.

"So husband actually secured a population that perpetually will give birth. Husband is fierce." Zi Rong said., also solidifying the desire to marry him as well. Lei Jin simply nodded in the affirmative.
