Successful Recovery!

The Supreme Elder brought out the ink disciples she had captured last time. It was time to develop a new method. One that Lei Jin hoped would work.

"Lei Jin I only have these several ink disciples so it would be for the best to wrap this up with a success sooner rather than later." The Supreme Elder said.

"Don't worry, Supreme Elder. After the last time with Xin Xia, my strength should be enough." Lei Jin said.

"What makes you so certain that you can do this? Healing wounds is one thing but. These people are all corrupted through and through." Elder Kong said curiously, stroking his beard.

"Naturally, this is the case. However, I am confident I can pull it off this time." Lei Jin said, getting ready to perform another miracle.

"What makes you so confident you can do this?" Elder Mei asked.

"When I had healed that woman of Void Land. I learned a vital element that had been missing when I last tried to cure the corruption. I think I can succeed this time. However, let's go ahead and give it a shot. If these ink disciples die instead they will have served the purpose of aiding the saving of others." Lei Jin said, welling up with power.

The whole Cave Heaven felt a sharp rise in power coming from Lei Jin's residence. It wasn't an odd thing to occur since he had a similar thing happen Several other times before. But to those who were 8th ranks caught a glimpse of the true power this held and its purpose. All of them appeared to watch the show.

Lei Jin targeted only one ink disciple this time. He wanted to focus on developing this power for himself before trying anything that would be too much.

With a swirl of energy Lei Jin was purging the ink force and destroying it. The swirling energy was for the purpose of allowing the world force the disciples would have could recover. This method was slow but it was working. After half a day of time this ink disciple who had undergone the receiving end of the method had been fully restored to his former self.

"This disciple of Blue Blaze Sect thanks the powerful and magnanimous sir! This lowly one was too drawn by the ink force when the sect master had told this one." The disciple said.

"Tell me your name and then convey your experience." Lei Jin said, ordering the person to speak.

"This one is named Yong Sheng. May I ask who it is I am addressing?" The low rank former ink disciple said.

"I am, Azure Void's Pillar Disciple, Lei Jin!" Lei Jin said simply and with zero reservation.

Yong Sheng could feel the strength of will that exuded from Lei Jin. It was simply astounding. Here stood before him a young man clearly not even a hundred years old and he had already formed a Dao Seal! Then combined with the fact everyone in subordinate forces knew what it meant to be a Pillar Disciple. This was not something just anyone could say. They would not be left alone if they lied about something like this.

"It is this one's honor to be of service to such a powerful figure." Yong Sheng said, flattering Lei Jin.

"Dispense with the flattering. It will not help. The only thing that will help is doing what I told you to do. Understand?" Lei Jin said seriously.

"Yes, honorable sir Lei Jin. I was transformed by the sect master of Blue Blaze. I was lured in by the prospect of reaching higher than my limitations. And then after I changed I was no longer in control of my body. It was like some sort of terrible nightmare." Yong Sheng said, crying. "The nightmare began when the sect master ordered me to kill my sisters! I couldn't stop myself and then… They were dead on the floor." He finished saying.

"I'm glad I woke you up from the nightmare. The force that corrupted you was evil by default. They lure people in like this and then force them to do things they would never do. This is a feature of the ink clan. They turned you into an ink disciple. My Azure Void along with all the other Cave Heavens and Paradises, have been fighting to suppress this ink clan since time immemorial. Countless of our masters have fought and died to protect this 3000 worlds. You are the first person known to return to their senses." Lei Jin said.

"I don't deserve to live anymore. How can I! I killed my own flesh and blood. I can still feel the terrible sensation of piercing their beating hearts. I'm not worthy of life." Yong Sheng said, crying and staring at his hands.

Lei Jin slapped Yong Sheng across the face and picked him up by the collar of his hanfu. "You may feel useless, guilty, or even that you might be a waste! If you feel this way, then make up the difference! Don't feel sorry for the loss of your sisters! Mourn them! Then take that feeling and turn it into fuel. Fight back against the abject evil of the ink clan! If you killed yourself now all of our efforts would be in vain! Moreover, that gives the ink clan exactly what they want! Do you want to help the ink clan! They are the ones who forced you to kill your family! Are you just going to give up like that! Do what you can now to the best of your ability! Don't give up! Your sisters would never rest in peace." Lei Jin shouted in Yong Sheng's face.

This was something that Lei Jin knew well. The loss of family at the hands of the ink clan. No one knew this pain better than him. He pulled himself together on the fucking battlefield as a child. So seeing this open heaven realm acting like a hungry newborn with no tit to suckle on, pissed him off. This was the one thing that could trigger his true anger. When it came to his family and life it was not something he could hold back.

Yong Sheng needed this wake up call because he was too weak willed. Something that was fatal in this kind of war. But he couldn't figure out what it was that drove Lei Jin as hard as this.

Yong Sheng recovered his senses. "Thank you sir Lei Jin. I was wrong to say these things. Just tell me what you wish for me to do. The sir has saved my life and I am willing to serve him well." He said.
