A Dark Realization

~~Azure Void's Flagship~~

The deck was filled with cultivators eagerly attempting to understand the battle that had taken place just now. Many small conversations occurred where the overall theme was simple…

"Did any of you see any of the Young Pillars movements?" One would ask coming up to a group hoping for bits of information.

"No way. That fight was too far beyond me. Though now that I think about it. There was one thing I saw. But I don't know if I saw it right." A 7th Rank responded to the junior.

"Oh, is brother talking about that move the Young Pillar used to kill the first Royal Lord?" Another 7th Rank inquired, having also seen it.

"Yes, it was almost like an anti-ink cyclone of sorts. But it felt different from his other attacks. Matter of fact I think I could pull it off… No, it likely uses the Rainbow Aura only he can generate." The first 7th rank said thinking about trying it himself.

This particular conversation was overheard by Supreme Elder Hong. Who took note of it and made an attempt to recall the situation. And then… "That's it! I can do the same thing. Though it will be significantly weaker than his." He said, coming to a realization. Raising a hand and performing a similar ability.

Everyone in the area felt this change and instantly took a look. Seeing that everyone was looking at him now, he stopped the ability and sighed. "Achem… That ability is one everyone with a Perfect True Rainbow in their Small Universe can perform. So don't discount the possibility yet." He said, clearing his throat.

"That's a Supreme Elder for you. Ah the day when I reach such heights." A 6th rank said, with admiration in his eyes.

"What! Am I not good enough to be your master or something?" A 7th Rank said, smacking the 6th rank on the back of head.

"No nothing like that master. This disciple was just admiring the Supreme Elders strength." The 6th rank said quickly. And several others laughed at the light hearted moment.

"It's good to see everyone so cheerful after that battle. A welcome sight indeed." My Human Race is victorious in this battle. 10 Royal Lords came to make trouble. They messed around and found out. Now all 10 Royal Lords are receiving just punishment from the King of Hell! So party with victory in your hearts. As for our invited guests, please wait for some time and enjoy the celebration. My Cave Heaven & Paradises will not treat you harshly. As for the business we have. I'll address it in a few weeks. For now I must… be a husband. I trust you understand." Lei Jin said, appearing above the flagship.

"Sir Young Pillar, forgive this one's forwardness, but might I inquire what those evil things the Young Pillar and Old Ancestors were fighting just now?" The Blue Crane's sect master asked extremely politely, knowing that she had zero right to address Lei Jin out of the blue like this. Let alone directly ask him something.

"Hmm… Forgive me, but I think that answer is best to come from another. However, I will announce. Those evil… disgusting… Vile… SCOURGES! Is the enemy my Cave Heavens & Paradises have been condensing with for the last million years." Lei Jin replied, simply.

It was at that moment a massive wave of guilt fell upon the people from the 2nd and 3rd Class Forces. Each of them remembered each and every single one of the talented people from their forces were taken. How they berated the Cave Heavens & Paradises for ripping families apart, and ruining foundations of other lower forces. Their forces were subsidiaries of the 1st Class Forces, the Cave Heavens & Paradises.

Yet all that time they hated and cursed, it was always against a protector. A bastion of warriors looking forward to stare evil down and thus protecting everyone in the process. Their freedom to live and operate as they choose came at a heavy cost. The cost of life and blood.

For the Sect master of the Blue Crane Sect she only had one more question. Already shaking at the thought of it. However, elder Wei noticed this and immediately took action to keep her from asking anything further.

"Don't ask about it now. It is useless to ask at this time. Let us find a more appropriate time to ask." Elder Wei whispered.

"I know, I just need to know. But I will wait until it is said. I will hold out hope until then. I hope that my sister is still alive." Blue Crane's sect master said, shaking.

"That is a natural feeling, I hope that all of the disciples we had are still alive and well." Elder Wei said, comforting the Blue Crane's Sect Master. Even going as far as to help her stay standing during this time. The realization that they have been benefiting from the protection of the cave heavens this entire time is not something easy to accept let alone comprehend. But knowing that their own people had been taken just to help in this fight… not knowing their fates was quite unsettling.

"Now then any more questions?" Lei Jin asked, attempting to be fair to everyone else. He answered someone at random. It would be unfair not to offer the same courtesy to everyone else. Now it was on them if they chose not to ask. It was silent as the numerous representatives began understanding the depths of the situation and also not daring to ask anything else. "Since that is the case I will leave you in the care of the Supreme Elders." Lei Jin said after scanning the massive conglomeration of thousands of different forces.

Lei Jin landed on the deck of Azure Void's Flagship. And looked at his wives with a tender look in his eyes.

"Husband has fought hard this time. Allow us wives to treat you well." Qing Ning said, with a joyful smile.

"Allow this husband to make up for the time he has been gone to his wives. This husband will fill you full of love in hopes of putting another baby in each of you." Lei Jin smiled and sent a sense of gratitude and love to each of his wives, and even the concubines who had also come.
