Army Growth & Training

Once Azure Heart left, the 2 thousand new people willing to fight were very quickly brought out to begin their training under the guidance of several dedicated masters. All of which were at least 7th rank or better.

~~Inside Lei Jin's Inner Domain~~

"To all the brave souls who wish to ascend beyond the Emperor Realm. Listen closely. The battles against an ancient evil, a primordial evil are strenuous and costly. There are many dangerous moments and few rewards. So there is little in the way of a reward. However, if you wish to fight and prove your mettle I will grant you the chance and pull you out so may learn the mysterious might of the Open Heaven Realm. You are not required by any means. Simply living out fruitful lives inside my Inner Domain is more than sufficient. However, if you truly desire to play a… more active role then decide. Once you are certain I will take you out of my Inner Domain, where a master will be willing to teach you everything you must know." Lei Jin's Voice rang out through the entirety of his Inner Domain. Reaching all of the people.

"Ahahaha! I was waiting for a chance like this! Supreme Master! I am willing, let me fight!" An Emperor said with a booming pride. "The pursuit of the Martial Dao to a higher realm. Who wouldn't want to go for it?" They continued with a good look on their face.

Thousands of Emperor realms from all over resounded with similar remarks. "Good! May your path guide you." Lei Jin said, summoning these people out of his Inner Domain. All of them knew that no matter what, this would mean the last time they would ever see some people. So while there were plenty of people willing to come out, there were extensively more that were not willing. And Lei Jin didn't judge them for it. Their friends and family didn't judge them. This was simply a matter of one's own path to the peak of the Martial Dao.

~~Outside Lei Jin's Inner Domain~~

Several tens of thousands of Emperors from Lei Jin's Inner Domain appeared. This put an immediate strain on the resources that were currently available. However, it was rather simple to fix since the Emperors would only ever need Emperor level pills. This meant that the Alchemist in the Inner Domain could simply provide pills for them. With the time inside flowing significantly faster, it was only a matter of submitting a list of required pills and it wouldn't take long at all.

~~100 Years Later~~

The army had mastered their Four-Directions Array. And was now in a massive cultivation state. Some people were breaking through whole major realms nearly instantly. Clearly displaying the true sense of might that mastering the Four-Directions Array had.

The Emperors that had all come out broke through to the Open Heaven Realm 5th 6th and 7th ranks. There was the occasional 4th rank but they weren't too many in number. While the 4th ranks had less aptitude they could still grow to eventually reach a high degree of might. After all, no matter where one started from, under Lei Jin's methods and influence, breaking through more than 2 levels beyond their initial start was not impossible.

There were 2 methods for breaking the chains of fate. They had been created during a time when the Heavens hadn't 100% favored the Human race. After this changed and now everyone could break through endlessly. However, both of the methods Lei Jin had devised prior still had major benefits.

The first method, where one replaced the resources used in their Dao Seal over time. While it was not needed. It still granted the user the chance to fully refine high rank materials. And with such an effect there wasn't a mid rank open heaven that didn't want to practice this method.

The second method was exclusive to high rank open heavens. This was due to the requirement of a stable and solidified Small Universe. The method allowed for one to generate the power of fate, threads of fate as some call it. They may have been used prior to breaking the Chains of Fate, binding a cultivator to their peak realm. However, there was undoubtedly a difference in the strength of those who had this power and those who didn't. Not a small one either.

The army continued practicing, training, and growing. The situation gradually grew to a point where Lei Jin was forced to create more resource generators. The consumption of this army was massive, after all.

~~300 Years Later~~

There were no new Emperors from Lei Jin's Inner Domain that were willing to come out this time. Not because they didn't want to, but they now had better things to do. For instance there was a never ending demand for Alchemy and Artifact Refining materials. So they would be on the constant search for them.

Other Emperors had decided to try developing a different method for a new realm of power. Lei Jin of course went along with it. Some thought it was foolish. But then again, those same people would think the realm Lei Jin is in now would have been impossible. Which was why Lei Jin was interested in this new method. If nothing came of it… no harm done. But if there was some result. Whether it was a new realm or not, there would still be benefits to obtain.

Aside from that Lei Jin focused on his Disk Anomaly. The Disciples he had been training specifically to manage it had done an excellent job. This time though… they stopped. There was something very different about the situation now. So none of them dared to continue for fear of a hidden danger.

With the Army's affairs in order Lei Jin could afford to spend some time in managing the situation. So he went to the location where the Disk Anomaly was. The result of thousands of years of use had indeed made several developments.

"Disciple greets honored master." The Disciples said cupping their hands and bowing.

"En, relax. It seems there have been some changes here. Go ahead and toss in a set of the materials again and your master see the situation." Lei Jin ordered.
