Granting Benefits
~~Outside Lei Jin's Inner Domain~~
It had been only a few hundred years since Lei Jin had entered a deep meditative state. So his awakening was a bit unexpected to say the least. This was due to his usual routine of addressing the Army once every thousand years. So those who could pay attention to him, did.
"Hmm, it seems the 9 ranks are all busy for the moment then. Very well, I'll distribute them among those gathered here now. And explain how it all works." Lei Jin said, creating a sort of dispensary in the void. "This new thing I have created is for 6th ranks and above. Most of you know by now of the large gap between the realms starting with the one between the 6th and 7th ranks. I have created enough Resource producing Artifact Worlds for everyone to use their own dedicated one. I will continue to keep up with the demand of them as they are needed in the future." He added.
"The Supreme Master is the best!" The Army erupted, knowing just how effective this would end up being.
"Firstly you must understand that you will receive one of these in accordance with your current cultivation. So if you have a 7th rank cultivation the level of the resources that you can refine safely is 7th rank. And thus you will receive an Artifact world that produces these as its first step. You shouldn't worry too much about it though since there is no one who could refine them fast enough to be waiting for more resources to synthesize." Lei Jin explained. "Further, once you make a breakthrough you must return your Artifact World to the dispensary. This is how you'll be able to accept the next one up. While providing others who come behind to use the Artifact World according to their needs." He continued explaining.
"Such a good thing! Supreme Master's care is indeed our greatest benefit." The Army said with a resounding approval. Everyone was beyond excited, this meant that there was an influx of resources that would greatly increase their cultivation speed and strengthen their foundation in the process.
"There is also a void corridor that I have opened up for everyone to deposit the unused low and mid rank resources into. Even if you may have no use for them, I do. And to be direct, I have also started to run a little low on the low rank resources. Once deposited through the corridor they will appear in a designated spot inside my Inner Domain." Lei Jin said, instructing the Army about the resources needed. "And don't get any funny ideas of jumping through that corridor yourself. You'll only embarrass yourself. As I have set a restriction that will only allow resources to pass." He said with a light chuckle, imagining some of the likely people that would try.
It was after this when the Army left to collect their Artifact Worlds. Someone walked through a light restriction and felt a scan of their condition before an Artifact world was chosen and flew down to their hands. And then they were promptly removed from the restriction.
"That was quite the experience. Pardon my question Supreme Master Lei Jin but, Did you perhaps make this dispensary to allow us occasional insights? It feels that I have learned something more about my realm and the next." A 7th rank asked, in a moment of absolute bravery.
"There are indeed some insights that one may or may not gain by going through this process but it is entirely up to the individual for their own improvement." Lei Jin answered with a decent amount of care. Not revealing too much nor too little. "Once everyone arrives I'll speak about the path of cultivation for a few days for everyone to perhaps attain some insights." He added after, which resulted in the single most exciting instance of time the Army had experienced in quite a while.
~~A little later~~
Yue Zhuo and the Phoenix sisters flew over seeing that there was an opening for them to get the chance to speak with him. "Jin'er, I see you've given the human race quite the benefit now." She said, with a very slight concern that related to something else.
"Indeed I have, but mother-in-law Yue and others shouldn't worry too much. While it is much easier to help them out, I have not neglected our friends in any way. You can see for yourself." Lei Jin said, knowing why they had been so eager to speak with him.
A singular World appeared in the void and at the top stood a mighty tree. One that gave off a homely feeling to the Phoenix Clan. And there were other very specific places among the world that gave similar feelings to the other divine spirits. It was a world that gave off the warmth of home to all the ancient divine spirits in the Army.
"I would have made a world similar to the Ancestral Land, significantly earlier. But it would have slowed the progress of this thing of beauty. There should be plenty of places for all of our friends to live and grow, while pursuing their natal divine ability." Lei Jin explained, with a smile as he saw the numerous faces filled with emotion.
"Thank you, this is nothing short of the greatest possible gift. I would even be willing to give you many more of my race's daughters. Though even with that it still wouldn't be enough to repay this debt of gratitude." Yue Zhuo said, with tears flowing down her face.
"Don't worry too much about it. I love my wives and wish to give them the best environment possible. If any of them are worried it would cause problems. So I naturally had to take care of this matter. But you should understand something now. While this place can give that feeling of home, it is still incomplete. And I don't know what nor how to complete it. But perhaps once you all start using it the matters will come to light and I can fix them later." Lei Jin said, with his usual self. Making sure they know ahead of time not to get their hopes too high.
