The Final Battle (8)

In the midst of Ink's flurry of attacks, Ink stopped. He had an expression of utter terror and panic. His eyes scanned the battlefield as if looking to find something that was no longer there. Ink's eyes darted around constantly, which only led the panic to settle in deeper.

"What exactly is it that has gotten your attention?" Lei Jin asked in a bored sort of tone as he yawned. This wasn't an act, he was indeed bored. There was no intensity in this fight. "I swear this is like putting down a sick pet. No, it's even more boring than that. At least with a pet there exists a sense of attachment. Ink on the other hand is not welcomed here. So wouldn't it be oh yeah that's it…" He said, getting chipper for a moment and lightly connecting his fist atop his palm.

"What happened?! Where are my clansmen? My people! My beloved creations. WHERE IS MY ARMY!" Ink yelled in his panic. He was now shaking, the feeling of being all alone once again was too much for him to bear. And he was worried about it happening again.

"Oh? Those disgusting spawn of the Incarnation of absolute evil?" Lei Jin questioned in a comedic tone, clearly not caring about this event in the first place. "My allied army finished them off. I really ought to think of a few good rewards for some of those that stood a head above the rest. They really did a good job at pest control." Lei Jin chuckled. "Now it's up to me to finish off the last pest. But before that…" He continued, and snapped his fingers.

In that moment Ink was assailed with the killing intent of every single one of the over 1 billion strong army. Ink may be powerful, well, was powerful. There was no way for Ink to bear this pressure without snapping.

"AHHHH!" Ink Cried out trembling as he held his head and convulsed. "I'll kill… I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" He muttered as he slowly stopped trembling in terror. "I'LL CREATE AN ARMY TO DESTROY YOU! GO MY POWER!" Ink cried out, forcing his arms up and his power out. Nothing happened as Ink cackled away… "HOW'S THIS HUH!? BEHOLD MY ALL MIGHTY TERRIFYING POWER! AHAHAHAHAHA!" Ink continued cackling away.

"So… Are you just suffering from performance anxiety? Or are you just scared? I'm still curious about this army of pests you're trying to create." Lei Jin sighed, not telling anything else. "Seriously, if I had known you were this pathetic… I think Sun's Burning Shine and Moon's Nether Glimmer could have defeated you on their own. I wouldn't even have to lift a damn finger." He added with an annoyed sigh.

"WHAT HAPPENED? Where is my army? Where are they? WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY ARMY!?" Ink screamed like a child spoiled well past the point of rotten.

"The fact you didn't notice is quite pathetic. Your ability to create the Ink Clan was a direct result of being recognized as a Supreme Being. Now that you no longer have this title, and the infinite energy you were supplied with by the world has been returned to its rightful owner. Do you really think you'd still be able to create your little army of pests?" Lei Jin explained, annoyed.

"WHAT! And how dare you say those two could beat me! I am stronger than them both together!" Ink complained, switching the topic because he didn't like the answer for the first one.

"Well, yeah. If they had fought you before they learned to properly control their power… You, Ink, would be the inevitable victor in such a battle. However, if those two had fought you after learning to control their full strength. There is no way they would lose against you, one who borrows a foreign power for himself." Lei Jin explained, getting a head splitting headache from learning of Ink's idiocy.

"WHY! WHY? What does everyone want to kill me? I only wanted to see the world and be with Big Sister Mu." Ink said as he started crying like a baby that needs a diaper change. "Heh, they won't be able to see that it was actually me who killed that bitch who turned traitor on me." He thought, as he put on the act.

"You really are pathetic. But it doesn't matter… I know the truth. You are the one who killed that so-called Big Sister of yours. She allowed you to take the form of her little brother. And then you used that form to commit an untold amount of heinous atrocities upon the world, and its people! You are the absolute worst possible existence. You would even kill the one person who took pity on you and treated you like family! Your death will not be worth pitying one bit." Lei Jin yelled out furiously. And released an oh so tiny portion of his true strength.

"FINE THEN! IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY KILL ME… THEN GO AHEAD! THERE CAN BE NO GOOD WITHOUT EVIL!" Ink yelled out, switching from a passive sympathy seeking attitude to one full of killing intent with a sick sinister look on his face as he cackled evilly.

"You really are nothing better than an idiot." Lei Jin sighed heavily.

Lei Jin raised his hand and pointed directly at Ink. The look in Lei Jin's eyes was not one of killing intent. To him, this was just pest control. Killing for the sake of cleaning the trash from this world. A cleansing of sorts.

"What?" Ink said in surprise. His eyes filled with a fear he couldn't understand. The pain in his being was far too surreal to ignore. "Oh, so this is how I… I've gone through this multiple times before, but not like this. I can't even move. I really am going to die this time. I failed my mission in this world. The outers are not going to like my failure. But, can they… Can those guys kill him? This power… It's definitely beyond the 9 seats." Ink thought, in a rare moment of reflection and surprising serenity.

"Bad is the opposite of Good, not Evil, you idiot." Lei Jin sighed. "Begone." He said, softly. His voice… monotone.

Ink's body was engulfed in a beam of the purest Rainbow Light that had ever graced the world. Completely and totally evaporating Ink in his entirety. Not a single bit of him left.
