Jody's lip was cut open and a red palm print was imprinted on her cheek. I wanted to storm over to the Roulex and tear out their throats with my bare hands, but the dovrikxing tractor beam kept me frozen in place.
One of these days they would slip up and I'd kill each and every one of them. And I'll enjoy every dovrikxing second as I tear them to shreds. I'll look them in the eyes as I do it too. I'll laugh in their faces so they can feel the terror they dish out on everyone else.
They locked the cell behind her and the tractor beam holding me in place eased, my muscles softening from the hold. I flew toward them.
Jody let out a squeal, throwing herself out of the way and landing with a loud crack.
Her scream rent my soul.
"Jody." I knelt beside her.
