"I've brought Jasper up to speed and he's going to check on Kento." Reed's mouth twitched with humor. "Did you really get him laughing?"


"Not on purpose. The potion I was making turned into some type of pink goo. When it erupted in his face, he started laughing and couldn't stop." I had a feeling that none of the guys were going to let me live this down because Kento was always serious and reserved.


"I'll have to stop at the infirmary after I drop you off as I've known Kento since he started coming to the school when he was fourteen and I've never seen him even crack a big smile." He chuckled, shaking his head. "And I'm going to take a dozen pictures of him for blackmail later."


"Am I going to have to worry about payback from him? I mean will he take this out on me for doing this?"


"You'll have to take that up with Kento," Reed said matter-of-factly, but gave me a sidelong glance.


My stomach clenched. What would Kento do to me for hexing him?
