Reed and I left Olsen's office without being any further along than we were before. But at least I had the spellbook back and needed to unbind Megan and me.


"The infirmary." I paused when he stopped in the hallway. "I want to check on Jasper and I need to get the book for breaking the binding between me and Megan. Why?"


"We need to reinforce the magical barrier around your dorm room."


"Can we do that later?" I really wanted time to talk to Jasper alone. Sure he'd kissed me, but there was so much I needed to tell him. Like how sorry I was that I didn't listen to him when he said we needed to leave my house after we found it destroyed. How I didn't realize that he wasn't acting fully himself.


"Fine. You go to the infirmary and Kento and I will take care of your magical protection." He whipped out his phone and sent a text message. "No side trips, straight to the infirmary and Kento will escort you wherever you wish to go."
