I don't even know why I am staring at her like a fool. I have never felt like this in my life. And her eyes she.....has red eyes? red hair is common but.... may be she is wearing contact lenses? but that is impossible. A contact lenses cornea doesn't shrink and expand during light exposure like a natural eye..so she isn't wearing any. such an enchanting colour like a red rose...no...she herself looked like a red rose. I couldn't stop my self from singing praise to her. And the suddenly the loud talk interrupted my thought.
"Good bye Viona, see you tomorrow."
I was still in daze so I don't remember when the word left my mouth."Viona..."I whispered her sweet name on my tongue.
But then unexpectedly she turned around. "Mhmm?" to see who called her name. but I have already hidden behind the pillar. Then she left, confused. I wanted to follow her but that would be too much. So I sulkily went to the old lady to buy sweets.
"Oh well hello young man!" she greeted me sweetly. I don't know how to deal with thus kind if people so I just said Hello back.
"So, how can I help you?" she asked again. I don't even know why I came to her. I could have left the shop.'May be I should buy what Viona bought...what was that again? Bunny cupcakes? yeah, that must be it'.
"I want two bunny cupcakes please."
"Great, good choice boy." she praised me and went on packing the sweets. After buying the cakes, I went back to my walk with my head full of her face and voice.....
It has been 4 days now. I realized she goes to that shop every day at 3:00AM. She never misses a day and every time after she buys her sweets she goes to an isolated park two blocks away from the bakery shop and behind a building. I don't know why but everytime I see her sitting alone on the swing, it gives me this feeling like she is hurting and there is no one there to share it with her. Like she is sinking in her own grief. How many times have I stopped my self from going to her. The days went by like this where I watch her swinging and eating...alone. One weak passed and her habits never changed until ....one day....she was late I waited for 3 hours but no change. No sign of her.I realized she wouldn't come. Then the next day came and sadly she wasn't there. I was frustrated for an unknown reason.'What is something bad happened to her' came my wild thought. But I haven't given up on her yet. Another 3 days passed. Nothing. Then on the last day, Sunday, I didn't go there. I spent my day in the house sulking around and wondering how school life would be when I join the new school. May be....I could find her there...the Bunny...I giggled to my self by the nick name I gave her. She likes to it bunny cup cakes, bunny loafs and so on. I noticed it lately. May be she might be in my school since I always see her in William's sphere school uniform....Day dreaming like this I looked up to notice that it is almost 3:00AM. I quickly shot up from the sofa that I was lazing on and went to my room to get my black hoodie. After getting ready, I ran down the stairs towards the front door. But before I could even reach the door knob, I heard a very loud thunder rumbling- no wait that's my father calling my name. And so I was caught.
"Alan!! where do you think you are going?" I winced from the harsh sound coming from him. Then I slowly turned around.
"Ahem. Well was just-"
"Don't tell me you are going for a walk, you have already used that excuse. Find another one."
" I was just going in a walk." I repeated his words to see his lips twitch with annoyance."Stop foolin' around boy. I know you have been sneaking out lately. I didn't say anything thinking you would stop but now you have been doing it for two weeks. What's wrong with you ?"lately he is getting worried about his son's behavior. He wanted his son to tell him what he is feeling, but he's Alan is not the type to talk about emotions. He has an ice cold heart just like his mother.
