His Revenge

Elijah couldn't help but smile when Weyna opened the door. After Sarah had left, Weyna suggested they go for lunch together. "Shall we walk past the venue for the party first?" she asked, concerned about Sarah's well-being.

"Sure, the restaurant is just across from the event location," Elijah replied. Having taken a walk earlier, he had confirmed the party's whereabouts. Since he didn't know much about the party, he didn't find the need to check on the details.

"Thank you!" Weyna's smile illuminated her face, her eyes forming crescent moons.

As they walked through the hallway, making their way towards the event venue, an eerie silence enveloped the atmosphere.

"The party feels oddly silent, don't you think?" Weyna voiced her observation, casting a glance at Elijah.

Elijah nodded, his curiosity piqued. Peering his head towards the main entrance, he immediately caught sight of Grace gripping onto Sarah's strap, cornering her near the swimming pool. "Stay here," he instructed Weyna before they both heard the sound of a loud splash from inside.

"What have you done?!" Elijah shouted, rushing towards the swimming pool.

Weyna, who was still stunned at that time, snapped out of her mind a few seconds later and followed Elijah in. Her face pale as she saw Sarah trying to gasp for air. The swimming pool was not that deep, perhaps because of panic, Sarah couldn't think.

Quickly hugging Sarah after Elijah helped her out of the pool, Weyna was seething with anger. She turned around, scanning the crowd with intense eyes. Finally, her gaze settled on Grace, who showed no remorse or guilt for her actions. "Is this how a doctor behaves? All because of jealousy? Seriously?" Weyna's voice dripped with disappointment and disbelief.

Grace responded with a haughty gaze, her eyes locked arrogantly onto them.

"I will make sure to ruin your entire career. A doctor like you is not reliable," Weyna threatened Grace before firmly grasping Sarah and helping her to stand up. "Let's go," she said, guiding Sarah with Sarah's arm draped over her shoulders for support.

Elijah offered his assistance, wanting to help, but Sarah stopped him.

"It's okay," Sarah replied, brushing her hair away from her face. "I can walk on my own," she insisted, taking a few unsteady steps forward.

"Babe…" Weyna held onto Sarah's arms, her voice filled with concern.

But Sarah didn't stop. She continued walking determinedly, making her way out of the venue. In her mind, she was determined to escape from this dreadful place as quickly as possible.

Weyna followed closely behind, pulling Elijah along with her. They all needed to change their clothes, as the night air was starting to grow colder.

The room fell into silence, and Weyna stood by Sarah's side, patiently waiting for her to speak. She understood that Sarah needed some time to process everything that had happened and to gather her thoughts. Weyna remained a comforting presence, ready to listen whenever Sarah was ready to share her feelings and thoughts.

"Can you ask Elijah to send us back right now?" Sarah suddenly requested.

"Now?" Weyna glanced at her phone screen to check the time. It was already close to midnight. Despite the late hour, she couldn't refuse Sarah's plea.

"I will ask him right away," Weyna assured, standing up and dialling Elijah's number. She cast a quick glance at Sarah, ensuring she was okay, before placing the call.

"Where are you?" Weyna inquired once the call connected.

"I'm in front of the room," Elijah replied promptly.

"Have you changed your clothes?" Weyna asked, concerned for his well-being.

"Yup," Elijah confirmed. He had found another room to change in, allowing Sarah and Weyna to have some privacy.

"Then, can you help us get back tonight?" Weyna requested, being careful with her choice of words.

"Right now?" Elijah sought clarification.

Weyna pondered the question briefly before responding. "Yes. We'll be ready in ten minutes," she informed him.

Elijah, who had just ended the call, was surprised when someone approached him, "What are you doing here?"

"Where is she?" Noah asked.

"Who?" Elijah didn't understand the question and asked back.

"Sarah," Noah stated, his cold gaze fixed directly on Elijah.

"Sarah? You know her?" Elijah expressed his surprise, his face showing obvious astonishment.

"Just tell me, where is she?" Noah insisted, not wanting to waste any more time and urging for an answer.

"Noah," Grace called out, her hand gripping his arm tightly as she turned him to face her. Gasping for breath from her rushed pursuit, she pleaded, "Can you please just listen to me first?"

"I don't think there's anything left for us to talk about, and I have no desire to listen to anything from you right now," Noah retorted, forcefully pulling his arm away from Grace's grasp.

Grace's expression dropped, her voice filled with desperation. "I did all of this for your own good. I understand that you're angry because you don't want this arranged marriage, but Noah, I know the real reason why you're pursuing her," she pleaded, attempting to reach out and hold onto his arms once more.

Noah scoffed, disbelieving with the words that were coming out from Grace's lips. "You did this for me?" He sneered, "What an angel, but no thanks, I don't need your help." He said and immediately turned to Elijah, "where is she?"

Elijah pointed to the room in front of him, "She is in this room," he said, confirming Sarah's location.

Being impatient, Noah rapped on the door repeatedly instead of ringing the bell.

"Noah, please listen," Grace pleaded. "Seeking revenge for Nick will only bring more harm. I'm certain Aunt Elise wouldn't want you to do this either if she were here with us."

Noah abruptly halted, his expression turning into a frown. He turned to face Grace, his voice filled with anger. "Who do you think you are?!"

"I understand that you're furious and upset about everything that has transpired, but seeking revenge is not the solution. Please, for the sake of everyone involved, stop seeing her with the sole intention of seeking revenge," Grace pleaded, her voice laced with concern. She paused for a moment before continuing, "I recently discovered that Sarah was Nick's ex-girlfriend, and I hope that she will face the consequences for what she has done to your family." Although Grace expressed concern, a faint smile played on her lips, indicating her ulterior motives.

At that very moment, the door to the room swung wide open, revealing Sarah standing before them.
