Why are you everywhere?

During the last week of the November, the final exams were conducted for consecutive four days. (P/N: Almost two months later.)
It was their last paper and then the school would close until the next session.
When the exam got over, there were loud cheers and whistles from the school hall. The students were enjoying as their exams finally got over after a long time. Some of the boys even took off their shirts and started dancing in the corridors, which of course did not last long as the teachers quickly came into the scene to control them.
Kiyoko was rushing through the corridor which was packed with the students. Zehan gave her a call earlier that he will be waiting for her near the staircase. They will be going to visit the new manga café at the downtown.
'It feels like sort of a date.' Kiyoko thought and she was filled with giddiness. She had a big smile on her face.
As she was about to make a turn towards the stairs, she lost her footing. She tumbled down the stairs
By the time she could overcome her shock, she tightly closed her eyes as she made her mind ready for the intact with the hard marble floor.
'No…'
When she felt herself colliding with a sturdy and warm body, she tried to open her eyes.
"Kiyoko…."
The voice was very familiar to her.
'Zehan…'
Her eyes felt heavy and then she lost her consciousness. Everything went black.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Kiyoko regained her consciousness, it was already dark outside. She could smell the pungent hospital disinfect. The room she as in was silent apart from her breathing and beep sounds.
She slowly opened her eyes, squinting in attempt to sharpen the blurredness.
She glanced around her surroundings and hastily sat down.
She was on a patient bed.
'How long have I been here?'
She tried to remember what had happened earlier. The memory of it all started to occupy her thoughts.
"Zehan…" Kiyoko jumped off from her bed. She pushed open the door and found her homeroom teacher and Tamaka sitting on the seats next to the hospital room.
"Kiyoko…" " Are you alright?" Tamaka shot up from her seat on seeing Kiyoko.
"I am fine. Where is Zehan?"
Tamaka felt silent.
"That boy got hurt on his head a bit. He is still not conscious." Kiyoko's homeroom teacher said.
Kiyoko felt an overbearing devastation clutching her tightly.
"No…" She mumbled in disbelief.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kiyoko rushed towards the hospital room where Zehan was staying. Tamaka followed behind her.
On reaching the room, she suddenly felt powerless. There were many who waited in front of the room including Zehan's friends and some teachers.
"Are you alright, Kiyoko?" One of the teachers asked.
"I…I am okay." Kiyoko stammered.
"Good. You should take some rest."
"I am alright." Kiyoko felt a lump down her throat, she bit her lips and controlled fought back the tears which formed at the corner of her eyes.
When they glanced at her she felt a foreboding trepidation. She stood at one corner and anxiously stared at the closed door.
"The doctor said he will come to his consciousness soon. But what will happen with his hand?"
"His hands will be plastered for two weeks at most."
The teachers discussed among themselves.
Kiyoko clenched the corners of her hospital gown.
...............................
It was half past nine.
Most of them had already left by then. Zehan's homeroom teacher Mr. Fuji, Sakura, Tamaka and Kotaro remained.
Tamaka and Kotaro had gone outside to bring some food.
While Zehan's homeroom teacher, was out for a smoke.
Zehan had already regained his consciousness and the doctor had informed that he was currently sleeping due to the effect to the medicine.
Kiyoko sat on the seat outside the hospital room. Her head bowed and she blankly stared at the floor.
Sakura was walking to and fro the corridor when she came to a halt and stood in front of Kiyoko.
"Why are you everywhere?"
Sakura continued. "You are ruining his life really. Look what have you caused to Zehan. The Giosek Art exam is just around the corner. He was working so hard for this exam and you bitch…You ruined his chance."
"And do you think no one knows about your relationship with Zehan? Well I Know. I don't get the idea how you seduced Zehan but remember you two are basically cousins. What will everyone say when they find out about you two? I don't think it will be pleasant to hear."
Kiyoko's shoulder shook considerably. She closed her eyes to control her tears which threatened to run down her cheeks.
Sakura scoffed at Kiyoko. "Tell them that I am going home."
Sakura strode off.
When Sakura was about to turn towards her right where the elevators were there, she saw Tamaka leaning against the wall.
Sakura was startled at first but she quickly regained her composure.
"I heard everything you just said to Kiyoko."
"Ha! I was such a bitch right."
"So you knew you were a bitch."
Sakura chuckled. "I was a bit mad. That's why I told her those in a fit of anger."
"Sakura…You really…"
"Hold your tongue Tamaka. The things I told that hag is for her own good. By the way, don't go tell these to Zehan. Let this be between us, friend."
"Do you think I will listen to you?"
"No. It's sad Tamaka." Sakura smiled and walked towards the elevator.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kiyoko broke into a silent sob and glanced at the closed door in front of her. The quiet corridor retorted back her wails.
Kiyoko covered her mouth with her hands to muffle her wailings. But the tears continuously fell down from her eyes.
'I ruined his dreams.'
