"Call that bastard here." The old lady bellowed, shocking Kiyoko.
"Yes…At once" The secretary scrambled out from the office.
"That bastard of a niece how dare do this kind of act behind my back."
The old lady mumbled on and on.
The secretary soon arrived with the Vice President following behind him.
"Great Aunt, how is your health!" The Vice President bowed his head, at that moment he noticed Kiyoko sitting opposite the old lady.
His eyes short out back at the old lady and he stammered," Great Aunt why is she here? Please don't believe anything she says. She came to me and offered me money to enter the Tokyo institution but I did not agree and told her to go away."
Kiyoko looked at the VP with disbelief. 'How can he be so shameless?'
"Oh my…! You should start writing stories. Why are you wasting your time here?" The old lady yelled. She threw the document towards the VP.
"Tell your mother to never come beg again in front of me to give you a position back in my company."
"Aunty…No" The VP fell on his knees. He clutched the old lady's feet, he broke into tears. The secretary scoffed with disgust at seeing his condition.
Kiyoko heartily watched the drama unfolding in front of her eyes.
"So pathetic…! I was raising a baboon in my company. Shameless! Biting the hands, which is feeding you huh?"
"Please Aunty. Please reconsider."
"And for the finishing touch, your money which you have taken from the Giosek Corporation will all be seized from you."
"Aunty…."
"You will the fine example for every employee of this corporation to show what actually happens with someone who launders money from my Corporation. Secretary, please take him out!"
"Yes" The secretary responded to his boss's order and gestured towards the bodyguards.
Two bodyguards came forward and took the crying VP away.
The old lady sighed.
"I looked up to him as a son. But…." She took a deep breath and then smiled.
"Kiyoko, I promise I will try to see if I can give your cousin a chance."
Kiyoko nodded her head.
"But as you can see there is not much hope, the board members are too stubborn. But I will look into this matter."
"Thank you" Kiyoko smiled. She has already lost the single tinge of hope she saw earlier.
She stood up and bowed.
"The drawing…?" Kiyoko wanted to take the drawing back but she was hesitant to say as she saw the old lady have kept the painting close to her on her lap.
"This will be with me." The old lady gently patted the cover of the painting.
"Okay..."
"Won't you join your granny for a meal?" The old lady said.
"I am sorry. It's too late already."
"Alright I won't trouble you. But my assistant, the one you saw driving the car will take you home."
"It's okay…! I can go on my own, Granny"
"Please don't refuse. My assistant will take you home in a jiffy."
The man in black suit, the old lady's assistant came forward and bowed.
Kiyoko reluctantly agreed and followed the assistant out.
When Kiyoko had left the office, the secretary who was standing behind the old lady said," Ma'am will you really let go of this artist?"
"What do you think of this painting?" The old lady straightened the drawing.
"In my opinion, we should give this child a chance. This child is a great talent."
"Yes, I think so too."
"Then why did you not tell the girl that you will agree to give admission to this child. The answer you gave was too negative."
"Huh? Really…! I was just appearing a bit professional. Ha ha…!"
"And what about the board members…"
"Huh? What about those pigs? I have the utmost control over the Giosek affairs. This examination was held under the Giosek wing it has nothing to do with M Corporation."
The old lady folded back the painting and then handed it over to the Secretary.
"Fix this painting into a frame and hang it upon that wall."
"Alright, Ma'am"
"Today I got myself a granddaughter. Let's have some mochi and dango. My treat…"
"Ma'am, you have diabetes!"
