CHAPTER 32: DEFEATING LORD EMPEROR
Jia sighed in relief and muttered a silent prayer.
"Let's make a bet," Jia said with a domineering aura.
The emperor hummed in response.
"If I win, you become my slave," Jia said smiling
"That's unfair. If I win you warm my bed. Deal?" The emperor asked with a devilish smile. His charming face looked evil and deadly.
Jia's face turned black. She wanted to rip him into pieces.
"Deal" Jia replied stoically.
Damon was thoroughly angered by the emperor's statement.
"This annoying sun who couldn't even look me in the eye back then," Damon said with a snort.
The emperor snapped his fingers.
Millions of human puppets emerged and all attacked Jia at the same time.
"Enjoy," The emperor said lazily.
Jia snorted coldly.
"GRAVITY LAW"
They all stopped in their tracks and couldn't move an inch further.
"You seem interesting." The emperor said flashing a demonic smile.
"EIGHT TRIGRAMS ARRAY FORMATION," The emperor said.
A triangular-shaped stone appeared at 8 different points surrounding Jia.
The emperor smirked again.
Jia got panicky.
"Look at the stones, there's a slightly different one. It appears to be a bit dull. That is the origin of the power source" Damon explained.
Jia nodded knowing what to do.
"The most important part of an array is the source," Jia said using all her might to disconnect the stone from the array.
The array's blue light flickered dimly before going off.
"Hmm? H-how?" The emperor said with a puzzled look.
Jia flicked her fingers.
"BOOM"
A planet-sized fireball hit the emperor.
Even though the emperor had a very high defense, the fireball still hit him because Jia had imbued it with the power of gravity.
The emperor coughed up a mouthful of blood. It stained the ground dyeing it red. He was forced to kneel due to the impact of the pressure.
Jia smiled flashing her fangs.
"You...You..." The emperor said with much difficulty.
Jia conjured a lightning bolt with dark arcs around it and hurled it at the emperor.
She didn't give the emperor space to attack her as she kept on giving out a barrage of attacks.
The emperor coughed up more blood so much that his face had turned deathly pale.
"I'll be your subordinate, please let me go, "The emperor said with difficulty.
" No. I change my mind. If I kill you, you'll still be my slave. Just in the afterlife "Jia said with a dark smile.
To the emperor, Jia looked like the grim reaper who had come to harvest his soul.
Each step she took made the emperor jittery. He cowered in fear.
" Coward " Jia spat coldly.
Jia didn't notice when the emperor popped something in his mouth.
"You demon spawn. This emperor asked you amicably, and you refused. Now it is time to show my true power! Coward, you call me, we'll see who's the true coward!" His voice reverberated.
"This is not right" Jia muttered moving a step back.
"Yes, it is not. This guy in an attempt to defeat you ate something that'll temporarily improve his level" Damon said.
Jia widened her eyes.
The emperor came at full momentum and slammed his body into Jia.
"BOOM!"
Jia was thrown far away unto a rock.
The rock had a jagged edge, so it tore into her skin drawing blood.
Jia also spat blood from the pressure.
" I admit, You're strong. But geniuses like you always meet their untimely deaths because they're always headstrong. Don't fight your elders!" The emperor said.
" I don't have time for small talk. Come to me if you know you can! " Jia said coldly.
The emperor smiled again.
He wielded a knife with qi and sent it flying to hit Jia.
This knife always knew its target. It couldn't be stopped.
Jia summoned the Buddha's sword body to protect her.
As the knife reached where the Buddha was, it opened its mouth and ate the knife with a crunching sound.
The emperor looked like he had seen a ghost.
The Buddha roared.
Jia made each hand hold a planet-sized fireball with some dark arcs
The Buddha had 200 hands.
The hands hurled the fireball at the emperor completely decimating the body. The ashes were nowhere to be found.
The Buddha saw the soul try to escape so it slashed it into pieces.
Jia smiled again.
'At least this thing can't reincarnate " Jia thought with a sigh of relief.
Jia then saw that her subordinates had killed 8 of the nine suns.
"Kill him. Don't decimate it" Jia ordered the Buddha.
The Buddha made a hand movement and detached its head from its body.
Jia's subordinates gazed in awe at the Buddha's sword body.
She dismissed the sword's body and it vanished.
"Good thing you decided to decimate the emperor. He won't be of any good use to you. The level he attained forcibly, that's the level he'd remain forever as he can't level up anymore" Damon explained.
