CHAPTER 43- TORTURE SESSION
Jia got up albeit feeling a slight pain
She stared at the countdown timer with worry. She only had fifteen minutes left
She cringed at the thought of the punishment involved and started to climb the mountain again
Jia had already scaled through half of the mountain but a piece of the mountain broke off , making her to lose her footing
Jia continues to climb but she misplaced her steps and crashed to the ground again
"Time up. You have failed. Preparing electric shock" A mechanical voice coldly announced
An invisible force slammed Jia into an electric chair
It switched on the electric chair and the shock began
Jia screamed till she passed out
HOURS LATER
Jia regained consciousness but she was still strapped to the electric chair
She somehow removed the straps and got up
Jia took a few wobbly steps but she kept on slipping and falling in a continuous cycle
At a point,she got tired so she just stayed on the floor
"I want to get out of here!!!" Jia screamed
For some reason,the door of the pagoda opened and Jia dragged herself out of the pagoda
She walked to the arena seething with rage
"How was your training session" The demoness asked
"You mean torture session. You gave me a high level electric shock. Are you mad or something?!!" Jia yelled in anger
They subconsciously shrunk back into their seats
"You don't get to talk to us like that!"The spirit said with false confidence
Jia snarled in anger
She dropped the weapons given to her and told her subordinates to do the same.
"I'm not doing this shit anymore" Jia yelled angrily
"Wait" Diana tried to say
Jia tugged hard on the crystal horn even though it was deeply embedded in her skull and wouldn't come off no matter what she did
A massive amount of blood trickled down her face but at this point,Jia was blinded with rage and didn't care
They stared at her dumbfounded
Jia passed out again due to excessive blood loss
The last thing she heard was Diana's panicked voice:"Quick,get the healer. She hasn't completed the task yet"
Jia tried to make something out of it but her brain was slurred
She closed her eyes and embraced the darkness
AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF TIME LATER
Jia woke up and found herself in a white room with a white bed
"Jin?is she going to be okay?"Diana asked
"Yes" A handsome white haired man answered
Jia attempted to stand up but she discovered that there were several silver needles in several parts of her body
"Get me out of here" Jia yelled kicking her legs
A blue energy bolt was hurled at her and she passed out
"When she wakes up, she'll be fine" Jin assured Diana
Jia woke up a few hours later feeling drained
She stood up and walked to the arena
"Why? Diana why?"Jia asked in confusion
Diana sighed pitifully
"Follow me"Diana motioned
They went through series of doors before reaching a towering metal door
"Diana requests an audience" Diana said
The door opened slowly
"She wants to know why you want her to go" Diana said
The boss stared at Jia for a few seconds
"I want you to go there because I need the humayun crystal. You're going there as a ruse. You can choose to win or not I don't care" The boss said casually
Jia stared coldly at him.
"You said that no one knows what happens in the divine trials" Jia spat coldly
"And you believed" He said with a sneer
"It's time you get smart little girl" He taunted
He described the Humayun crystal to Jia
"Be careful,No one has been able to get the Humayun crystal but I think you should" He continued
"This should help you stay invisible for 10 seconds each time you use it. You can use it 5 times" He said giving her a wristwatch like thing
"Diana get her out of here" He said kicking them out
"The trials start in a few hours. The weapons you dropped have been returned to the room. Do you need anything?" Diana asked
"No" Jia replied and walked to the room
"Did you miss me" Damon asked with a smirk
Jia ignored him and started to charge the guns
"I'm sorry" Damon apologized
"Don't talk to me" Jia said coldly
Jia entered full concentration mode
After a while,the guns levitated in the air and entered into Jia's body
She opened her eyes and looked around in alarm looking for the guns
The instant she thought of them ,they appeared in front of her moving slightly
Jia looked confused
[Ding!Host has received personal armament;Mana guns] The system announced
"Personal armament?I don't get" Jia muttered confused
