CHAPTER 53: CULTIVATING AGAIN
"Did you just say something about dimensions?" Jia asked with excitement
"Yeah. I can't take you right now but I promise I will. When you are stronger" Damon said solemnly
The excitement on Jia's face died that instant
"I think we should leave here" Damon suggested
"Why" Jia a, asked skeptically
"You are stagnating in your cultivation. The spiritual energy here is thin. You're the only one with a divine soul. I will take you to a nicer place" Damon explained at length
"You're right. But, where are we going exactly?" asked Jia comfortably
"The moon city. The last requirement to enter that place is that you must have awakened a divine soul " Damon answered
"You have a divine soul?" Jia asked
Damon had no expression on his face when a black bat with a bloodthirsty look appeared
It released a lot of pressure making Jia start to cough up blood
The bat saw her and stopped the pressure
It seemed to jump around in excitement
"Are you okay?" Damon asked with concern
Jia nodded and stood up
The bat danced around her as if expecting something
"What's wrong with it," asked Jia
"It's been that way since you started the awakening process. I don't know" Damon said with a complicated look
Damon returned his divine soul inside his body
"Are you ready?" Damon asked
"Just a few minutes," Jia said typing a long message
"Yeah, let's go," Jia said looking into his eyes
He nodded and hugged her
They disappeared instantly
AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE MOON CITY
The guards were not aware that two people had already entered
All they felt was a gust of wind blowing past them
"The spatial orientation of this place is a bit distorted so we cannot go too fast" Damon explained
Jia walked beside him, looking around occasionally
A woman walked towards them in a twisted manner
A coy smile was on her face
"I am from the charm sect. Come with me" She said seductively
She licked her lips, staring into Damon's eyes
She ignored Jia, attempting to seduce Damon
Jia had a notorious grin on her face
The woman suddenly dropped to the ground, blood dripping out of her body
Jia riddled her body with more bullets till she breathed her last
Jia kicked her body out of the way into some unknown place
A cruel smile hung on Damon's lips
"Stay close to me," Damon said drawing her closer
They seemed like two teenage lovers, deeply infatuated with each other
"Where are we going?" Jia asked after walking for a while
"An old friend. He should still be alive" Damon said with a cackle
Jia could not make out the meaning of his words but she didn't bother to ask
As they entered more profound into the city, Jia felt their spiritual energy increase drastically
"Those people outside are the weaklings. The true powers live deep inside" Damon warned grimly
They reached a small building with few flowers and plants around it
"Damon out here" Damon yelled
"You're still alive?" A muffled voice asked
"Open up, will you," Damon said with a sneer
"Fine fine fine," A short old man said opening the door
" Armin, I told you I would come back didn't I?" Damon said casually entering
Armin sighed and signaled for Jia to come in
"Why are you here," Armin asked
" I want to stay here, for now. I mean, all you do is closed-door cultivation " Damon taunted
Armin glared at Damon
"Fine," Armin said entering a place
" See?, I was right" Damon yelled irritating Armin
Jia could not help but laugh at them
Damon had a devilish grin on his face making him look mysterious
"Do whatever you want. I want to cultivate. It's been ages" Damon said sitting down in a cross-legged position
"Armin, Do you have food here?" Damon asked pausing for a while
"Yes!! Don't disturb me" Armin yelled
Damon closed his eyes and started to cultivate
His divine soul came out and started to absorb Qi and spiritual energy
Jia stared at him mesmerized
After a while, she stopped looking at him
"Xi ' er, I've gone to another place. Just stay where you are for now. I promise you that when you awaken a divine soul, I will come to get you " Jia told Luo Yin through the soul imprints
'Alright sister Xue. I promise to get stronger and better. I love you so much ' Luo Yin answered with a resolution
Jia took a deep breath and shut her eyes for a while
[Host, It is time] The system said out of the blue
"Time?Time for what?" Jia asked in confusion
[Evil]The system answered

"I'm not doing evil today. I want to flex" Jia answered the system
Jia decided to look around the house
The house was more significant than it looked on the outside
