CHAPTER 76: BIG SUPREME
"So who's the big supreme watching y'all?" Jia asked
"Her name must not be mentioned. It attracts divine punishment. She's ruthless" The figure said giving a creepy vibe
Jia stared at the figure blankly
"Don't stare at me like that " The figure said in mild irritation
"Are you a boy or a girl?" Jia asked
"Don't ask this supreme being stupid questions like that. You should know that by yourself" The figure said harshly
Jia walked out of the door leaving the figure stunned
The figure followed after her
"Don't follow me" Jia said
"Nobody can see me," The figure said clicking its tongue
"And then some court will think I'm mad right? Think again" Jia said with a sneer
"Then go back in," The figure said
"I prefer to be seen as mad then," Jia said snobbishly
"Why are you such a hard nut to crack," The figure said with a hint of frustration
"Tell me her name then," Jia said
The figure sighed and looked up
"Amaterasu," The figure said
A lightning bolt struck the figure on its arm revealing its true self
"Supreme Xue isn't it?" Jia asked
"Yesss that's my name," The figure said gripping its arm
Blue blood dripped out from the wound
The wound closed up a few minutes after
Supreme Xue had short wavy blue hair and large light blue eyes
The lower part of her face was covered with a mask that had a drawing of a phoenix on it
She was quite short and had a small figure
A blue moon-shaped moon-shaped tattoo rested between her eyes while a star-shaped tattoo was on her cheek
"Remember this?" Supreme Xue asked pointing to the tattoo between her eyes
Jia nodded
"That was me" Supreme Xue
"Ok" Jia said
"Can we go?" Supreme Xue asked again
"Carte Blanche," Jia said staying behind Supreme Xue
Supreme Xue entered and Jia followed
"Little Supreme, what did you want to talk about," Jia said crossing her legs
The supreme glared at her
"Imparting the technique of course," Supreme Xue said with a grunt
"But before that, I know you to be someone that never stays in a place for too long. Why are you still here?" Supreme Xue asked
"I want to explore this place. I feel like something is off" Jia said
" Whatever. Just be careful. I didn't actually 'create ' this place " Supreme Xue warned
"Explain," Jia said
" Oh, I don't know. I just you know, saw this abandoned world, remodeled it, put creatures in it you know " Supreme Xue said
"Oh so there's a reason why this world was abandoned," Jia said
"You got that right. I don't know why" Supreme Xue said
"Can I meet Amaterasu?" Jia asked before lightning struck her arm
Jia screamed in pain
Supreme Xue quickly healed her arm
"I told you, girl. She ain't nice so I'm not sure" Supreme Xue said in frustration
"Is She the biggest shot?" Jia asked
" Nope, There are people who are stronger than her. Just that they have their special way so they never come around here " Supreme Xue explained
"Also, why does Ama~ her name attract divine punishment when mentioned," Jia asked mindfully of not mentioning Amaterasu's name
"Like I said, She's not the strongest one. The stronger ones stay in a different universe. So she's kinda the strongest one around. When you get to a certain level of strength, you become one with this universe. In short, you become this universe itself. You're a law that rules supreme " Supreme Xue explained
"Oh, so if I get stronger than Ama~ her, I become this universe itself?" Jia asked quizzically
"I guess," Supreme Xue said with a shrug
"So what's gonna happen to her?" Jia asked
"You can't get stronger than her as she has a super sharp aptitude for cultivation. Even if you do, she ain't gonna let that happen. She'd have probably gone to another universe by then. She's way above you in level" Supreme Xue said heaving a sigh
"Can I become a supreme being?" Jia asked with a dreamy smile
"I'm not sure. I'm running out of time" The supreme said touching Jia's head
A blue light enveloped Jia's body in a cocoon way
By the time the light dispelled, Jia's eyes were gone
Only a blue light filled the space but she could see
"Why am I seeing in the blue?" Jia asked
"I modified your eyes. They'd look normal in about a week" Supreme Xue said
"Oooh. Giving ghost vibes" Jia said
" Can I shoot lasers with my eyes?" Jia asked
"Anything you want. You should learn the technique" Supreme Xue said
"Sure," Jia said with a smile
"Gotta go. If you ever need me, say my name. Don't call me for stupid reasons" Supreme Xue said vanishing
