Next day.
Having talked with the owner of one of the largest horse breeders on basically the Current USA, he felt happier as he has agreed to start breeding more horses for a possible collaboration. He would no longer try to breed 90 Horses but 400 or so every year, which meant investing in new breeding horses and raising them.
Catching Wild horses might be a good way to increase his ability, but Felipe needs war horses, not wild ones. That is the very value of such established breeding of horse farms. In the Empire, the only horses were the ones left by the Spaniards, and even then, between independence wars and civil wars, the number of horses really decreased.
Felipe is still determining if making such an offer to a powerful man is wise in an industry quite new to his country. However, he has no option; there is no way. He must create new land for him to set up shop there.
"You have taken fancy to my daughter?" John asked as he was alone with Felipe writing documents; Felipe was making sure the rights to such a horse entrepreneur did not rape his country's wealth.
"…" Felipe looked at the man who had given up on reading all the guarantees, responsibilities and rewards that Felipe was promising if he invested heavily in making the main branch of horse breeding in the Colombian Empire.
"… If I marry you, my daughter, your son would be heir to all my wealth… in exchange, my legacy is passed to be part of Royalty. We would not need any of these." The Horse Breeder said.
'Boy, I have only been here one 2 days. Be a bit reserved with your daughter, god dammit.' Felipe just coursed. But he enjoyed seeing the opportunity in everything.
"I don't intend to insult you. But your daughter is not what I am looking for; I do not know what I am looking for either. But I know I was born in a privileged position where I can choose whomever I want, and my father would not say anything." Felipe said as he stopped.
"Being a noble and a Royal makes any suitor almost instantly unqualify to me, not because of their positions or bloodlines but because of the lives that come with it. I am not a nursery; I don't want spoiled brats. I am sure you have raised your daughter to be one… no shame in that, though; my daughters will also be spoiled brats in the future; nothing will be missing from their lives."
"…" Jhon looked at the crown prince with a doubtful look; after all, the only thing that a man should want is a woman that gives them children and nothing else.
The door opened, and a brave Nancy arrived before them and shouted almost: "I am not a spoiled brat." She quickly left, forgetting to shut the door.
Both of them chuckled at the irony. Nonetheless, the rancher felt it was just too good of an opportunity to let go. If he could marry his daughter to a future king, all his misdeeds and sin would not matter.
"You can marry more than one person in your empire, aint that right?"
"Yes, a decision that, according to the pope, will for sure doom my father and his descendants to the deepest levels of hell," Felipe said as he chuckled.
"What about having her as a second wife?"
"For that, my friend, I must have a first wife." Felipe chuckled. "I am in the empire business… the most long-lasting decision would be who I will call empress of my future Empire. I am afraid I can not do things so rushed."
"…" The horse breeder nodded as he understood that the crown prince was uninterested in his daughter. Nevertheless, the man has seen Felipe's eyes looking at her daughter; every man would have similar looks, one of lust.
Being able to reject a marriage proposal made by himself gave Jhon great insight into who the person he was going to do business is. Being able to resist to such an extent, whether he was telling him the truth or not, was still impressive.
"… Sigh… excuse my wishful thinking; I only want the best for my daughter." He explained as he picked up the contracts to reread them. The agreement was broad and specific at the same time, for once, in times of struggle, he would be expected to provide horses at no profit. Such a condition would deter most people, yet he made nearly no profit with all the new investments.
Manifest West was getting quite popular, yet he could not profit much. He looked at the scalability of his operation to be able to offset the costs. It just so happens a Crown prince was given the ability to provide horses for his armies. Thousands of them. He was already scaling his operation, but if the demand for them is just as Felipe asked, he will be quite rich.
"Do not worry; I have nothing to say about that. I am not a judge. Not in this country, at least."

Next day.
Once again, Felipe was outside, looking at the wild white horse, not letting himself be dominated in any shape or form.
It was his last day on the ranch, as there was nothing else to do. To the governor's knowledge, he has already seen what transpired during their ranch stay.
Felipe only thanked the fact that he would no longer meet governors; he would be meeting the president next; maybe he would get some kind of decency and protocol of not being so close with him. Nonetheless, he has never seen his factory of matches in person.
He has no interest in maintaining the factories of New York anymore. Instead, he intends to heavily invest in Florida and the mining of red phosphorus for other reasons, such as fertilizer. At the moment, the use of phosphorus to fertilize was not known. Still, it was the prelude to full Nitrate fertilizers for almost 100 years. If he can invest in Florida in the right places, he will get stupidly rich and lead the way for a constant supply of fertilizers to his Empire.
"Arrgghh." The cowboy was thrown to the ground once again.
"Henry, am I wrong?"
"Huh? Ah, yes." He confirmed Felipe's guess for his name.
"Let me try. Taming a horse seems quite an interesting experience." Felipe said as he just went below the gate, which was only a long pole.
"I don't think that is a good idea." Henry looked everywhere as he didn't want to be responsible for anything that might happen to the crown prince of a country under his watch. Still, he only saw the family's young lady go out of her hiding and look at every movement Felipe was making with laser eye focus.
'Fuck.'
Felipe just got close and met the horse halfway, making it hard on its steps, creating an opening for Felipe to put his hands on the horse's reigns. "Hey, buddy."
"I will be damn if it comes to this," Felipe said as he let the horse calm down while keeping him in place. After a few seconds, he began to turn the horse around and give him multiple points of view of himself.
"Shadows can't hurt, at least not in reality. Humans can hurt, at least not me. Trust in my words." As Felipe was saying such, he felt the horse understand, not really understanding how. He just smiled and slowly got up on its back.
The horse no longer wanted to destroy its rider and began walking hesitantly. Felipe let his reins loose, increasing the space on which it was walking. In no time, it was already in trot mode, and after a lap, it quickly developed into galloping.
The encircled space in which they were confined was not big enough for them to go full speed, but with sharp turns, the horse quickly increased speed, just showing the flexibility of the horse.
"I will be dammed." The cowboy has been trying to break the horse for a week already. Yet, when Felipe took it, it behaved like a tame horse.
It slowly decreased speed but increased the angle of attack and reduced the radius of the circle it was making, challenging Felipe. Nevertheless, the crown prince didn't budge and just rode it out with his reins firm and his feet in a position where he was not likely to fall.
The horse was massive despite being quite young; it had a Northern European bloodline and a Spanish bloodline, funny enough, just like him. Felipe lowered his center of gravity as the horse was just turning around on its place at full speed.
And after what felt like an eternity, but only 4 Minutes, the horse stopped breathing heavily. Felipe slowly just got down from it as he felt dizzy. The horse itself began to walk funny and quite violently. It fell on the ground, but it was a soft landing.
Felipe just went for the rails and held his weight on them, feeling the same way, ready to fall in.
"Your majesty." Nancy came close to him as she was preoccupied. Henry was about to do so, but seeing the young lady do so, he restricted himself from doing so. He just looked at his boss, who was at the door looking at them; he had arrived when the horse started spinning like crazy.
"I am quite alright," Felipe said as he received the handkerchief and nodded before returning to the horse.
"Are you sure?" She asked, very worried.
"Trust my words," Felipe said as he was still fucking dizzy, and so was the horse.
"Right… I am sorry." She said as she moved back a step. She has seen something she could not obtain. She thought no one would reject her husband, but she was rejected even when her father proposed the idea.
She didn't think of herself as spoiled. Still, her attitude alone made her reflect on herself, and after seeing Felipe win over a wilding horse, her obsession with him grew.
'I am going to be his wife.'
