A beautiful kingdom full of Monkmaids, Aquablue lies deep beneath the water surface. Rriel is next in line to be king. Mokmaids have a body like an ape and a tail like a mermaid. They are magical, except with many rules. Rriel wishes things were different. 

Opal Is a shy, awkward girl with only one friend named Richard. Opal loves to read and enjoys the books that Richard writes.  She is currently reading The Kingdom of Aquablue. What happens when her book Magically transports Rriel to her world? Will they become the best of friends? Or will things be too crazy?

Kingdom Of Aquablue

What is going on? I look at the book in disbelief. My mouth hangs open. The book is glowing with a yellow glow all around it. The book opens, and the pages flip. My body shakes. Everything is spinning around. It was like swimming fast behind a shark.


I close my eyes to stop the spinning. It was making my head hurt. When I open them, I am shocked.


"Who are you?" the beautiful Opal asks. I recognize her from the Pearl.


She looks so scared. " It's okay, and I am not going to hurt you." I try to calm her.


I look around. Everything seems so different and unfamiliar. If this is Opal, then I am in the human world. That book brought me here.


"You came out of the book," she says, her eyes wide.


I notice the book in her hand, and it looks identical to the one I have at home. I look down at my hands for the book, and it was gone. I see human hands, and I began to panic. No, I stay sane for Opal. She's already so upset.
