Opal's point of view
I look at Rriel. He seems happy I didn't even give Grayson a chance to explain himself.
"I am proud of you," he tells me.
"I was kinda a jerk."
"Nope, not at all." He laughs.
My eyes kept wandering to Rriel's chest. He looks terrific with no shirt on. I hope he hasn't noticed my attention. He looks like he could be a male model in the human world.
I walk back towards the kitchen. My nose gets a reminder of the food in the oven. Mom has to go to work after breakfast. This will give Rriel and me the whole day. I felt thrilled.
Rriel left to get dressed. Though I wouldn't have minded him staying topless.
"That boy looks amazing with no shirt," my mom fans herself with the pan.
I laugh. "Mom."
She laughs too. "He is a nice boy."
I nod. I couldn't tell her how crazy I was about him. He was perfect in nearly every way.
Rriel enters the kitchen in shorts and a t-shirt. "Need any help?" He asks.
