In a few days later,

Delacare Main Office,

Ellio, a young man in his mid-twenties with a bright smile and golden hair, bustled into Vivienne Delacroix's office clutching a report. "Boss, this here is the report for the last month, and how much progress we've made is clearly showing on it!" he exclaimed.

Vivienne, the CEO of Delacare Company, looked up from her desk, her expression curious. "What's got you so excited today, Ellio?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.

Ellio's smile widened, and he pulled out his smartphone, showing Vivienne the news. "You won't believe it," he said, a note of disbelief in his voice. "We're already one of the top-listed companies in the city!"

Vivienne's eyes widened in surprise as she read the news on Ellio's phone. "Finally," she said, her voice filled with satisfaction. "All our hard work has paid off."

Ellio's smile turned sly. "Boss, don't you think it's time to reward your employees for all their hard work?" he asked, rubbing his hands together like a greedy salesman.

Vivienne laughed, knowing exactly where Ellio's thoughts were headed. "That's a good idea," she said, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "I'll make sure to reward all of you for your hard work."

"Thanks for your generosity, Boss! I will take my leave now as I need to inform the others about the rewards they're getting!" Ellio expressed his gratitude towards his boss before hastily leaving the office, as if afraid that his boss might change her mind. He exited the room in a rush, excusing himself before he disappeared from sight.

Moments later, Ellio's voice boomed throughout the office, "Hey, everyone! Boss is giving out red packets for the outstanding performance the company has achieved!" His announcement was met with a resounding cheer and enthusiasm from everyone working in their cubicles.

"Hahaha! The Boss seems to be in a great mood!" A middle-aged employee with a full head of salt-and-pepper hair and kind eyes commented, amused at the news.

However, a young woman in her early twenties with long, flowing hair and an ethereal presence shot a sharp gaze towards him. "Hey, Adviser Galen, don't you know why the Boss is happy?" she asked with a mischievous smile, making everyone in the office aware of Galen's lack of knowledge.

Galen felt a tinge of offense at her remark and looked at her with a fierce gaze, as if threatening her to come clean with her words. "What...! What are you trying to say with that gaze of yours, Ms. Amara!" he retorted, his tone seeping with irritation.

Amara, however, remained unfazed by his reaction, and her smile only widened. "Hey, calm down, Galen. Even though everyone knows that you won't be able to do anything to her, given that she's well-liked by everyone here, you don't want to drown in their disdain, do you?" Ellio intervened, stepping in between them to diffuse the sudden tension.

As Galen turned around to face the other employees, he saw that they were all giving him a hostile glare. It was as if they were ready to skin him alive with their eyes alone, and he knew that he needed to back down before he became the object of ridicule.

"Uh, I think I left my coffee maker on at home," he muttered before scurrying back to his cubicle, the laughter of his colleagues ringing in his ears.

Ellio chuckled as he watched Galen make his hasty exit. "Well, that was awkward," he quipped, eliciting a few more chuckles from the others.

Amara smiled at Ellio's comment and added, "Yeah, he really needs to learn to take a joke." Her words were met with another round of laughter, and the atmosphere lightened up instantly. It was a close call, but thanks to Ellio's quick intervention and with Galen's retreat, they were able to avoid a potential disaster.

...

The following day, the office was abuzz with excitement as everyone eagerly awaited their bonus rewards. Some employees were already planning how they would spend their extra cash, while others were simply basking in the anticipation.

As Ellio was making his way towards his cubicle, he spotted a group of employees gathered in a circle, murmuring excitedly amongst themselves. Curious, he walked over to see what was happening.

In the center of the circle stood a tall, lanky man with a nervous expression on his face. He was juggling three oranges with one hand while attempting to balance a pencil on his nose with the other.

The employees cheered as the man deftly caught the oranges, but their excitement turned to horror as the pencil suddenly fell and pierced through the orange in his hand, causing it to squirt juice all over his shirt.

The man let out a loud groan as the employees rushed over to check on him, but Ellio couldn't help but burst out laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation.

"Looks like you need to work on your juggling skills, Jerry!" he joked as he approached the group.

Jerry glared at him, but his expression softened as the others continued to tease him good-naturedly.

As the commotion died down, Ellio returned to his cubicle, chuckling to himself at the absurdity of the scene. It was moments like these that made him grateful for the camaraderie that existed among his coworkers.

Just then, his boss appeared at the entrance to the cubicle area, beaming with pride. "Congratulations, everyone! I am thrilled to announce that our company has finally achieved a record-breaking results this month, and I couldn't be prouder of all of you. As a token of my appreciation, I am doubling your bonus rewards!"

The office erupted in an explosive frenzy of cheers and applause as the boss announced the news. Ellio couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him; it was a good day to be part of this team. Amidst the uproarious excitement, a few of his colleagues were already indulging in some thought of spending a portion of their bonus tonight with the sweet and charming Amara.

Amara, in many ways, was like a spiritual leader to the team. She had become a guiding light for everyone, whenever someone felt overwhelmed by depression or stress. Amara was always there to offer help and cheer, bringing them out from those dark thoughts and giving them a fresh outlook to work on.

When they started working, the pressure of work and the aggressiveness of their competitive rivals from the Delacare Company often got the best of them. But Amara's sweet and kind words always managed to soothe their anxious nerves. Her ever-present smile, despite having to face many difficult situations, was infectious, and everyone admired and respected her young age. They gave her unconditional support for whatever she needed from them.

Ellio sat at the his table, his mind lost in a swirl of revelry around him. The sound of clapping and laughter echoed through the office as his colleagues congratulated each other on the good news. But amidst it all, a twinge of gratitude for Amara tugged at Ellio's heartstrings. It was her unwavering positivity that had helped them overcome the countless obstacles and reach this far.

The moment Amara-san left with their boss, Ms. Vivienne, the team huddled together, exchanging whispered ideas. Ellio's eyes sparkled with excitement as he spoke up, "So what kind of surprise do you think would make Amara-san happy? We can't be half-hearted about it!"

The room fell silent as everyone pondered Ellio's question. Finally, one of Ellio's colleagues spoke up, "What about a surprise party? We could decorate the break room and order Amara-san's favorite food."

Ellio's face lit up with joy, "Yes! That's perfect! And we could get her a heartfelt gift too. Something that shows how much we appreciate all she's done for us."

After a brief discussion, they decided that offering Amara something she really liked and holding a warm thank-you party would be the perfect surprise for her.

As the team split up into groups, the excitement in the air was palpable. They were determined to make this surprise for Amara a night she would never forget. The group assigned to finding the perfect gift scoured the internet, searching for something that would bring a smile to Amara's face. Meanwhile, the team in charge of the venue called up the best restaurants in town, securing a private room for the celebration.

After whole day of planning, the night of the surprise party finally arrived. The team had worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, from the decorations to the menu to the heartfelt gift they had chosen for their spiritual leader, Amara-san.

As they gathered in the break room, the anticipation in the air was palpable. But just as they were about to begin the festivities, a sudden call shattered the excitement.

"I'm sorry to inform everyone that Amara-san has been in an accident," the voice on the other end of the line said, the words heavy with sorrow. "She's in critical condition at the hospital."
