"It looks like there's some footage from a security camera near the site of the accident. It's not great quality, but it might be enough to identify any suspicious activity."

"That's fantastic!" Frank exclaimed, leaning forward in his chair. "Can you enhance the footage and get a clear picture of the person responsible?"

Alex nodded. "It'll take some time, but I think it's possible."

The team spent the rest of the day analyzing the footage and discussing their findings.

As the discussion continued, Olivia watched the team in action, impressed by their professionalism and dedication.

It was clear that they were experts in their respective fields, and she felt a renewed sense of hope that they might finally be able to solve the case.

Several hours passed, and the group eventually took a break to grab some food and refreshments.

Olivia sat down with Frank, feeling grateful for his help and expertise. "Thank you so much for agreeing to work with us," she said. "I know it must be difficult, given everything you've been through."

Frank shrugged. "It's been a long time, but I haven't given up hope. I still believe that one day, I'll find out what happened to my daughter. And who knows? Maybe this case will lead us to some answers."

Olivia nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "We'll do everything we can to make that happen," she said.

With that, the group got back to work, their minds focused on the task at hand. The investigation had only just begun, but they were already making progress.

Together, they would uncover the truth behind the Vivienne's accident, and perhaps even bring closure to Frank's own personal tragedy.

At the Nexus General Hospital,

The air was electric with excitement and anticipation as the small group gathered around Vivienne's bedside.

Simran and Lucien, who had been tirelessly watching over her, noticed a flutter of movement in her fingers and the flicker of her eyelashes. Their hearts leapt with hope as they immediately called for the doctor.

"Master Sterling, it's looking good. Ms. Vivienne might open her eyes any time now," the doctor informed Lucien and Simran, who shared a look of relief and joy.

Butler James arrived on the scene, having heard the good news from Simran. "Thank you, Doctor Noel, for all your help," Lucien said gratefully to the elderly physician, who beamed at the young couple.

"Ah, it was nothing. I'm just glad I could be of assistance. I'll take my leave now and let you all have some family time," the doctor said, bowing slightly before making his way out of the room.

Lucien sat down heavily in the chair beside Vivienne's bed, feeling as though a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

"Thank goodness," he breathed, his hand reaching out to caress Vivienne's head gently. "I was starting to think you'd never wake up."

"Master Sterling, should we let Ms. Vivienne's employees and friends know about her progress?" Simran asked, mindful of the many visitors who had come to see Vivienne during her hospital stay.

Lucien considered the question for a moment, his brow furrowed in thought. "Yes, I think that would be a good idea," he said finally, nodding his head. "It might be comforting for Vivienne to see familiar faces when she wakes up."

Simran left the hospital room to make some necessary phone calls, leaving Lucien to sit by Vivienne's side.

His mind was racing with all the things he wanted to say to her once she finally opened her eyes. The room was silent, except for the soft beeping of the machines monitoring Vivienne's condition.

"Knock...knock...!"

Suddenly, there was a gentle knock at the door. Lucien looked up to see a couple standing awkwardly in the doorway, their hands carrying a basket of fruits that could be preserved for a month.

Their eyes were filled with deep sadness, indicating that they might have a close relationship with Vivienne.

"Are we bothering you two?" the couple asked hesitantly, their voices low.

"No, not at all. You can come in," Lucien replied, gesturing for them to enter. "I assume you came to visit Vivi?"

"Thank you for understanding," one of the visitors spoke up, gesturing towards Lucien as they made their way over to Vivienne's bedside.

They requested permission to sit beside her, as the only available chair was occupied by Lucien.

"It's okay, please go ahead," Lucien nodded graciously, rising from his seat to make room for them.

The couple settled themselves beside Vivienne, their faces etched with concern and sadness as they gazed upon her peaceful yet fragile form.

As they sat together in solemn silence, the only sounds in the room were the soft beeping of the monitoring machines and the occasional rustle of the preserved fruits being passed around.

Lucien observed the couple as they held Vivienne's hand tenderly, their eyes brimming with unspoken emotion.

His curiosity got the better of him and he asked, "May I inquire about your relationship with Vivi? Feel free to decline if you're uncomfortable."

The man responded with a sad smile, turning towards Vivienne's sleeping form. "It's alright. You have every right to know," he said, introducing himself and his wife. "I am Jason Delacroix, and she is Ravel Gray. We are the parents of this unfortunate yet capable child."

Lucien was taken aback, but he didn't forget to show respect to his in-laws. "I apologize for not greeting you properly, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law."

Jason stopped him from bowing, saying, "It's alright. We don't deserve your respect. We failed to prevent Vivienne's expulsion from the Delacroix family."

Lucien was surprised to hear this, as he had suspected that Vivienne's contract marriage had something to do with her past. Hearing it from her parents confirmed his suspicions.

He admired Vivienne even more, knowing that she had faced immense difficulties but still managed to shine bright.

As the couple began to speak softly, Lucien listened intently, feeling as though he was witnessing something deeply personal.

They shared memories of the time they had spent with Vivienne, and Lucien couldn't help but feel touched by their love and care for her.
