The sand stormers and the king Of Levine

The thick snow covered the rocky ground making it hard to move through the rocky mountainous slope. The time for spring season was drawing near making the ground warm, the birds flew from their nest perching the trees for what little food they can gather, the warm sun guided us to the east of the sunny mountain, the sun never left the mountain; the heat soon made the sole of our shoes creak and crack with every step taken. Sweat formed from our brows like rain draining into the soil, and the snow began vaporizing from the ground as the sun hit the high noon, after walking nearly 5 miles through the mountains we came to see the horizon the landscape revealed the beautiful canopies, the river flowing through the green vegetation.

“We have been moving from one mountain to another, how far is the place we are going” Seven complained. “Sirius laughed as Ray was down below the slope already plucking the monkey flowers growing. Magnes was using a stick to support himself, I was standing beside Ray watching everyone.

“The City of Roses is not far from us,” Sirius said looking at a map given to him by Fiona.

“The sun will be setting in a few hours’ time.” I laughingly joked.

“Have you gathered the herbs you need to make your drugs?” Magnes finally descended from the slope, the field felt very warm with a touch of grass carpeting the floor.

The feeling of thirst runs through the empty stomach of the men. Cadie was unusually quiet throughout the journey. She only spoke when thirsty or hungry. Silent fell on the group, walking steadily to keep pace with each other.

A song echoed in the heart of the forest, a sweet melodious voice, the round enclosing canopies formed open wide as the broad branches changed in direction, and the shade fell on the flowing stream allowing the moonlight to brighten through the forest. The song continued in high tenacity, the forest beat to the song, and the loud melodious song made the leaves rustle making the trees dance to the song.

A cool breeze made the heat that penetrated the body less painful, and the swollen feet gradually healed. Sleep dawned on me, I got up from the water and redressed to find rest.

“Does someone hear horses” Seven who was standing came rumbling us from sleep? The loud running noise in the ground, faster faster, we had to force off our sleep and prepare for the incoming danger. The noise draw nearer to us, the cart was the major problem which contained many of our items. Seven climbed to the top of the tree, holding and readying the arrows. Cadie uses her ears to listen in, “The horses are coming in our direction, I can hear swords clashing into each other. they are killing themselves let’s hide within the trees.”

The horses soon bypassed us without noticing our presence, galloping at a faster rate, the bats followed the riders screeching their faces, and one of the dead men fell in front of where I was hiding. The huge bats run for the last rider who is farther ahead, and the tree shade moves to block the path of the bat from going after the rider. The creeping plants coil around the front leaves of our hiding place sheltering us from the intruders. “They are looking for us,” Cadie says.

“Can we fight with the enemy?” Sirius asks.

The plant held us tight preventing us from going any further. Eddrick appeared, meowing; the tree trunk opened wide like a gate filled with blurry laughter. Eddrick jumped into the gate we all stood frozen to the spot.

“They are searching for us,” Cadie said.

“Well, I think it wants us to jump,” I said

Everyone stared at me, waiting for me to jump. Ahem, I coughed hard but there was no sign of movement. I run towards the trunk, I found myself in the inner forest surrounded by a group of colored faced men and women, pointing spears toward me. Soon the rest of the crew followed their arrest. The green leaves made into perfect armor covering their skin. Some wear hats made of bamboo trees. While others wore hats made of green tall elephant grass. The tree marks with olive oil encircled us trapping us to the point where we stood.

“How did you enter our village,” She asked in a slow longing voice. “Are you part of those men destroying the forest?”

I was lost for words. Eddrick who opened the door was nowhere to be found. We were bonded with thick long vines and thrown in a large tree house. The rider was tied to the tree sitting down and looking at us. He wore a brown cap with short curly dark hair, brown skinned having a golden linen with a dint of red dotted pattern in his tight trousers and a silver band around his wrists and arms.

Soon in the evening, we were taken to the oracle of the forest, the oracle with his long-pointed ears and masquerade to disguise his face with a tortoise shield behind his back.

“Come in Maya,” he said.

“We have done no harm to the forest” I presumed that was the reason for our arrest.

“Look into the water,” the oracle said.

“Okay don’t want any harm” seven retorted.

I dipped my head into the water; I saw Terrin with his dragon tattoo on his left upper arm. He reached out to a fan on the floor blowing wind into the eyes of men wrapped in white cloth with sand covering all over their faces. The pyramids were huge and far from Terrin, he reached out the hands of a man on the floor gathering holding a short dark dagger with a long spear. He looked not experienced with his combat skills, throwing the dagger up and down, the spear was snatched from his hand by the sandman rushing onto the young man like a zombie, lifeless and filled with the menace to kill.

“Davina watch Deagmund’s attackers!” a mysterious man in dark robes called out.

The young lady with long silvery hair rushed on the men disappearing to silt their throats. There were a lot more of the sandmen. They moved like scorpions wanting to spread their venom without being noticed. The huge beast they ride on with the face of a chameleon stretched their tongues hitting Davina to the ground. She gets up and keeps running towards the sandmen slaughtering as many as she could, the void opened wide bringing out more gigantic beasts, they looked mercilessly being beaten by their riders to crush the people fighting on the ground. They tried to crush even their allies. Running blindly towards the enemy, “Gregory!” Terrin shouted. Gregory used a huge staff to hit the ground calling out water to freeze the oncoming huge reptiles. The three of the sandmen combined to form one entity; holding an axe in one hand and a long dark vaping sword in another. He became very fast without being noticed he slew the temple knights. I recognized them for they wearing the red crossed banner, shaped like an X, they belong to the people of Levine. The zombie wearing a cloak to cover his lips and nose leaving only its radiating blue eyes. He jumps to a young boy barely in his 16 with a girl in his 15s fighting hand in hand. The girl combines her hands together to make the wind storm like a tornado rushing onto the zombie assassin. The zombie moves swiftly inside the storm she adds lighting to the wind which only slows down the movement of the zombie.

The zombie swerves a short arrow shot at him by the young man standing beside Tiffney, the name Terin kept calling her. The zombie kicked the brown-haired man, he locked Tiffney in his gaze, a fairly tall man with an eye patch covering his face blocks the zombie’s sword from reaching Tiffney’s heart. He holds the axe and uses his steel hand to break the sword. Gregory called thunder from the skies to strike the zombie.

“More of them are forming into one,” Terrin said as he lifts his head after killing two of the reptiles. “Back into the temple, hurry” Gregory made a certain rush call. The zombies chased after them slaughtering whoever comes in their way. The huge pyramid temple had several layers, where the guards stood to shoot the zombie. The creatures were swift and interconnected with their blue eyes. There in the midst of the chaos, a tattered clothed man with a long beard and bushy hair wearing a dark armor filled with a completely dark presence. The creatures became submissive to his presence. They all made a long-lane path for him to walk through. He was not heading for the temple as the zombies rather he was heading toward the royal palace. He was calm and gentle, only walking slowly, the royal soldier in their red crossed uniform run towards the man every step he took only made them frightened of him, and they became petrified trying to strike him. A huge man with two opposite blades burning with flowing fire stood at the entrance, the sorcerer only went to pull his heart out of him. He walked through the gate collapsing the long wall. The king and his wife are locked behind their castle, watching the massacre of their people.

“I’m here to claim my prize,” The sorcerer said.

“Faber, we need time” The King transmitted to him. He laughed hard making the creatures surrounding him laugh along with him. He raised his arm and three men came to stand beside him.

“Traitors!” the king shouted, the three men wearing long claws swaying their long tails having feminine appearances entered into a barrier sending them into the castle. In the meanwhile, a seat was offered to the sorcerer waiting for his minion to do his bidding.

The three siblings became trapped in a triangular formation on entering the vast castle, Dylan the youngest brother among the Fazon brothers, removed the claws from his hands and threw a long rope with the claws attached breaking the tortoise shield formed by the guards. The two brothers broke free from the trap slaughtering the guards with their claws.

“Fragile magic,” Dylan said.

“I know right brother” the brothers chorused. Leaving the last guard to the bottom floor from the third floor.

The king appeared wearing a golden crown, golden boots, and white gloves, he transformed into a lion attacking the three brothers, he disappears and rips the ribs of the stout brother,

“Galt!” the third brother shouted transforming into several ravens covering the entire floor, the king transforms back into a human with eagle eyes. The king releases his sword from his belt. The crown falls off his head, and he walks through the flights of ravens, sealing them into his sword. He stabs the third brother through the heart; Dylan’s eyes redden, his ears erect and he swallows a pill that builds his muscles, he becomes a gigantic monster with vast energy, he uses his backhands to hit the king sending him backward into the window. The king coughs out blood, Dylan grabbed the king by the throat, squeezing him, Hadrian used his hands to push the monster, and he releases the sword in the air sending the sword into the stomach of Galt. Dylan used him to acrobat Hadrian forcing him out from the window to the ground; he lay motionless. The palace became chaotic Dylan carries his two brothers to meet Faber.

“The king is dead” mournful tears leave the eyes of the bystanders. The temple is sealed from outsiders. Faber stands from his seat and starts heading towards the temple Luciel who was treating one of the wounded “He is coming this way” an elderly woman, with grey hair with a ribbon tied in her hair, runs to a crystalized room with 3 temple knights. The knights release the crystal from a holder; he places the crystal into a round tabular block in the middle of the room. The two other knights also place their crystal into the block, the elderly woman put a key into the walls activating the mechanical system of the room.

“It is working”, the woman said.

The disked shape block moves round and round the ropes go up and down, the emerald begins to blink then it all stopped.

“Re-activate the mechanics” The knights began to tremble. The pyramid began to deteriorate from the highest point. The sand slowly faded away from the structure.

“Hailee” the elderly woman called out to one of the knights, she goes through the door bringing Terrin, Tiffney, and his enter crew leaving only Luciel who attended to the patients. Ghost places his hand on the emerald inside the crystals, he enters a lot of his energy into the emerald all the crystals light up, “Bertina re-activate the mechanism” Terrin called out to the grey-haired woman. She turns the key and the disc moves faster and faster, the pulley system activates and the temple shakes vigorously in the ground.

Faber who was still wearing away the structure felt the temple lift from his hand, soon he watches lazily as the temple disappears he turns around smiling with his dark eyes beaming into the skies searching for the whereabouts of the temple.

Dylan enters a secluded room from the bigger rooms in the king’s palace. The dull-colored room where a young woman lay, “The blood of young missie will finally grant us the immortality we desire.” He removes the bed cloth only to find pillows arranged like a human in the bed.

Dylan screams so loud; Faber stops searching for the temple he disappears into the room to also meet an empty bed.

“Find the princess,” he said with a sinister voice.

“She must have been in the temple your highness,” Dylan said crunching his fist.

“She was not inside the temple I have already marked her with my blood,” Faber said, “Find her!” he screams so loud all the creatures begin to scatter about. His scream vibrated through the water causing my head to ache I pulled my head from the water.
