Keiko sits patiently in the waiting area of the station, feeling confident that everything will be ok now that Albert has arrived. So when she sees them walking out from the back, she assumes that everything has been resolved. She gets up and approaches them in better spirits than before.
“Nadia!” Kei rushes up to her happily, but avoids hugging her, remembering where they are and the situation. “So, everything is ok now, right? Your dad and lawyer were able to clear it all up?”
Nadia smiles wryly, and slightly holds up her wrists to show Kei the cuffs hanging from them. “Uh…not quite Keiko. Things have gotten a bit more complicated since I left you, I’m afraid.”
Keiko is shocked to see this, and all her previous excitement fades suddenly. “What? This can’t be right.” She looks at Al. “Albert, this is a joke right? You all are just pulling my leg, right?”
