It’s silent for a few moments, no one saying anything. Kei starts to feel the pressure first, wondering if she approached her answer wrong, or questioning if she could’ve said it in a better way. Elliot looks at her and can see her stressing over this, and he laughs, breaking the tension.
“Why are you laughing?” Kei asks this but lets out a small laugh herself. “Am I joke to you?”
“No, no, I’m sorry. You’re not a joke at all Kei, I just found your expression while in deep thought amusing. You really do show a lot on your face when you’ve got your guard down.”
“Really? I had no idea. I guess that would be kind of amusing then.” She chuckles. “I hope you understand what I said though Elliot. There’s nothing wrong with you. I’m really sorry though.”
