“Damn you!” Albert lunges at Nic and they begin to tussle, as Nora laughs and Keiko stresses.

Nadia meanwhile hears nothing at all, as her world goes silent, with the exception of the ringing in her ears. She doesn't hear when Keiko calls out to her, or the men grunting and growling in the background as Nora only further amuses herself at their expense. She doesn't hear anything, yet a voice inside her head speaks more clearly than it has in a really long time, almost taunting her.
