“James, I just got the call from Councilman Barinel. The visitors will be here in 30 minutes. Do we have everything ready?”

“Yes alpha. Everything is ready. I have the room ready for this shewolf, whoever she is. I don’t know why we have to play host to some pampered princess.” The Beta says with a huff.

“James, it is an honor for our pack to have been chosen for this project. I never said she was a pampered princess or anything like that.”

“No, you didn’t say anything other than we will have an important guess coming with the council and I need to make the best room ready for this she-wolf. I don’t see why we have to roll out the red carpet.”

“Beta, it is not your place to question my orders. If you have a problem, I can always find someone else to do their job. You are the one acting like a pampered princess right now. You need to get yourself together or I will replace you. Is that understood?”
