CH30: BLOODY CHERRY.

[Somewhere above the Earth's Atmosphere.]

Cherry plummeted into the Earth's atmosphere at an incredible speed with a faulty alien escape pod. She had to cover her entire body in a blood egg-like dome to keep the air from escaping the large hole in the pod as she fell back to ArkVille.

However, another pod suddenly bashed into her, setting her off course into another random part of the Earth. She didn't know this since she couldn't see but judging from her sudden change in course, she figured she'd have landed somewhere extremely far from ArkVille, further away from her brother.

After over ten minutes of falling, Cherry's pod crashed into hard, solid ground, allowing her to finally leave the pod and step on Earth again. When she did, she found herself in the most desolate location she had ever seen in her fifteen years of life.

The ground was covered in orange soil and yet, it had patches of red, green and yellow grass. The sky had a blend of blue, violet, and orange and for some reason, the sun couldn't be seen. In the far distance, she saw large, vaguely shaped mountain ranges that weren't snowcapped, despite their peaks passing high altitudes.

Also, there were weirdly shaped, with some looking like mountain goats with wings. "What the hell happened to mother Earth?" She wondered as she took her first steps. The non-seen sun scorched the sand to the point where her feet sizzled with each step so she coated them with blood as she walked to anywhere where she could find locations back to ArkVille.

As she did, she saw the edge of the city which was a couple of miles away from her but then, she also noticed never seen before buildings being pitched by Granian forces. "Oh crap. They followed me here." Without having anywhere else to hide, Cherry decided to go forward and deal with the Granians, since they were in between her and the city she was heading to.

While walking toward the Granian base, Cherry saw the sands under her feet shift as it seemed that some creatures were crawling under it. She ignored it, although she had the faintest ideas of what they were. "Either we've got snakes that crawl in sand or this heat's making me hallucinate."

The ground beneath her feet begun to rumble and shake as sink holes appeared all around her. "Finally. It's been too long since I killed something." She said, having forgotten how she killed a Granian few hours back.

From the sink holes came out large scorpions that were as large as fully grown bulls on steroids. They had two stingers, another set of pincers and each one of them had green acid dripping from their mandibles.

Cherry smiled eerily as her body slowly turned into her blood mutant form. One scorpion spat acid repeatedly at her while another ran at her with its skull crushing pincers outs and ready to snap her head off.

However, Cherry, who was full blood mutant, made extremely large scythes and used one to block the acid from touching her. Then, she used the other scythe and sliced of the other scorpion's pincers, causing black blood to spew out of its wounds.

Cherry drew the blood toward her and made it into a large, black scythe. She smiled as she enjoyed how beautiful it was. "You know what," She said as she turned back to normal. "Fighting you creatures in this form isn't fun at all. Maybe I'll do it as a human."

Cherry jumped on top of a scorpion and made a rope using blood, which she wrapped around the scorpion's mandibles. The creature struggled to set itself free but Cherry stabbed her scythe into its back and controlled it to do her bidding.

"You see the funny things about you creatures?" She spoke to them, even though they didn't understand her. "You never work together. Always fighting each other to get a decent meal. Well, I know a place where to feed. Where we can ALL, feed."

Cherry rode the scorpions back into the sink holes, which turned out to be a network of complex tunnels made by them. As she rode through, many more followed her and the scorpion she rode on, like she was their leader.

Cherry cackled eerily as she rode through the tunnels until she finally reached where she wanted.

-------

"This planet's gotten rather boring, hasn't it."

"Haven't you heard, fool? General Grim is on Earth. He's leading a war against the humans and is after the one who escaped."

"Have they not found him yet?" Two Granians spoke to each other as they kept watch over their fortress.

"Imbecile ." The second smacked the other's head. "Why do you think we're still on this planet? As soon as we capture him, we're out of here. All those other galaxies are presenting worthy warriors. Since we cannot give up Grim, we must choose someone else and according to Grim and Grand Master, the one who escaped is the candidate fit for it."

Cherry heard everything the Granians said and she was greatly saddened by it. Not only did she and her brother lose their parents, they were both abducted and turned into freaks and now, her brother was the reason the aliens were still on Earth.

Her rage soon took over and before she knew it, her and her scorpion army rose up from the ground and climbed the walls of the fortress. The Granians were caught off guard and since the scorpions out numbered them, they had no time to fully retaliate during the ambush.

Cherry covered her mouth with a blood mask so that she wouldn't be spotted and she made sure to stick to her normal human form, since none of them had figured out she left.

While the scorpions rummaged through the Granian fortress, Cherry leaped from her scorpion and pinned down the Granians that were speaking about her brother. "Hello, boys.: She said with a creepy smile on.

"How…how do you understand our tongue?" They asked. Little did they know that Cherry and the remaining blood mutants had translator chips in their ears, so they could perfectly understand what the Granians would say to them.

"Oh, don't worry about me boys." She shoved her scythe blade into one Granian with a smile, only this time, she didn't absorb its blood. "Now, what's this I'm hearing about a certain BOY!!"
