The inside of the temple was dark and musty, with cobwebs covering every surface. Lan Su cautiously made his way through the halls, searching for any clues or signs of what he was looking for.
As he turned a corner, he saw a faint light coming from one of the rooms ahead. He quickened his pace and entered to find an old man sitting at a table, surrounded by books and scrolls.
"Welcome," said the old man in a raspy voice. "I have been expecting you."
Lan Su was taken aback but tried not to show it. "How did you know I would be here?" he asked.
"I am a seer," replied the old man cryptically. "I have seen many things in my time, including your arrival at this temple."
Lan Su didn't quite believe him but decided to play along. "What is it that you want from me?"
"I do not want anything from you," said the seer. "But I can offer you something - knowledge."
He gestured towards one of the shelves behind him where there were several ancient-looking books.
"These are books containing secrets that have been passed down through generations," explained the seer. "If you are willing to learn their contents, they may help guide you on your journey."
Lan Su hesitated for a moment before nodding his agreement. He spent hours poring over the texts, absorbing as much information as possible about everything from battle tactics to ancient legends.
When he finally emerged from the temple hours later, Lan Su felt more prepared than ever before to face whatever challenges lay ahead...
