The Battle at Dragon's Pass

Lan Su was on his way to the next town when he received a message from the local martial arts school. They were under attack by a group of bandits at Dragon's Pass, a narrow valley that was known for its dangerous terrain. Without hesitation, Lan Su changed his course and headed to Dragon's Pass.

As he arrived at the scene, he could see the bandits had already set up a barricade, blocking the entrance of the pass. The school's disciples were holding their ground, but their defenses were faltering. Lan Su knew he had to act fast. He approached the school's master and offered his help.

"I've got an idea," said Lan Su. "But I need your cooperation."

He pulled out a small device he had been working on for a while, a type of explosive that could be triggered remotely. He explained his plan to the master and the disciples, and they quickly agreed to it.

Lan Su gave the device to the master and instructed him to wait until he signaled. He then climbed up the rocky terrain to the side of the pass, where he could get a better view of the situation. He saw the bandits were preparing to charge the barricade, so he signaled to the master to set off the explosive.

With a loud blast, the barricade was destroyed, and the bandits were caught off guard. Lan Su quickly jumped down from the rocky terrain and charged towards the enemy, with the school's disciples following closely behind.

Lan Su's knowledge of engineering proved to be useful in the fight. He had prepared a few contraptions that allowed the disciples to move around the terrain more easily and even launch projectiles towards the enemy. With Lan Su's help, they were able to defeat the bandits and secure Dragon's Pass.

After the battle, Lan Su was hailed as a hero by the school's disciples. But he knew that it was their cooperation that had made the victory possible. As he continued his journey, he felt a sense of accomplishment knowing that he could use his knowledge to help others in the world of Murim.
