Sleep-Aid

The alarm had yet to sound, but a feeling in his heart signaled him to wake up. Subconsciousness had returned on its own, sensing something amiss. As Zeyn tried to move, a dreadful peculiarity crept into his body. There was no response from his limbs, as if they were locked in a mysterious stillness. His vision felt hazy, and the only sensation was a terrifying atmosphere that bred fear. His body seemed trapped in an intangible prison, while his mind floated without control. Tightness started to crawl up his throat, accompanied by a surging panic.

It felt like being caught in sleep paralysis, a frightening condition where the body awakens but can't move, while the subconscious plays on the thin line between dreams and reality.

'Hmmh...'

A sigh, coupled with a sense of something pressing down on him, jolted Zeyn awake. Was this his own room? He himself wasn't entirely sure. Sleepiness still lingered, so he wasn't overly startled.

'Haah~ hmm? Uh ohh, you're awake, it seems sshhzz~'
