Beyonder's Banquet

Far away on the other side of the galaxy, stood a castle. It hovered in the vast emptiness of space, its towers and spires shimmering in the distant light of stars. It was a breath taking and impressive edifice, an architectural wonder that defied the laws of physics. Surrounding it was a shimmering force field that crackled with energy, shielding it from the dangers of the void. The castle was made of a mysterious and unknown material, referred to as 'Reality brick'.

As you enter the castle, you are greeted by a labyrinth of halls adorned with countless windows that offer a glimpse into different worlds, and statues of various beings and entities. The floors were made of polished marble that reflected the ceiling, resembling a cloudless sky where enormous celestial whales swam.

At the heart of the castle lay the banquet hall, filled with the sounds of soft music and the chatter of the Beyonders. The atmosphere was one of relaxed elegance, with the room bathed in a majestic glow, radiating an air of indulgence and celebration.

However, despite the beauty and grandeur of the castle, the thoughts that brewed in the minds of its mad, cruel, and inhuman inhabitants were anything but serene. Their minds were consumed by thoughts of violence and bloodshed, their desires twisted and dark.

The room fell silent as a tall, winged figure in a white robe raised a glass of wine in his slimy, tentacled hand.

[May I have your attention, please," he announced, his voice echoing through the hall. "Ladies and gentlemen, honored Beyonders, I stand before you today to celebrate the success of this project, or chapter as the man behind the veil says … 'how come they can live in bliss, unaware of the dangers lurking in other galaxies?' Hah! What a stroke of genius by the Father of Spiders!]

Laughter filled the room, and the spider-headed person in the black suit squirmed with embarrassment.

The winged figure continued, [But, in all seriousness, this project was not an easy one. It required tireless effort and unwavering dedication from all those involved. And yet, here we stand, having achieved what many believed to be impossible. Our success is a testament to our collective strength and the limitless potential of the Beyonders.]

The room erupted in applause as glasses were raised in a toast to the success of the project.

[Also, who thought lord of trickery was going to suggest the ultimate plan?]

[Taking a brick from the reality wall, and setting the fairies free was the perfect situation for us to interfere in their world... do you remember when I suggested this back then before fourteen centuries? Nobody supported the idea at that moment] a creature with a man's body and a goat's head, lord of trickery snapped at the whole presents in the hall.

[Now, just calm your a-- down Buk, you know you had no s--t against 'him', and you should be grateful that he gave you permission now, we were dying of boredom, I mean … not literally, but can you imagine that for more than thirty millennia we were watching boring creatures living their boring, meaningless life ... eat, sleep, reproduce, consume, fight, mate, and die... just, how the hell was 'he' enjoying that s--t]

The Beyonders in the banquet were celebrating their achievement, the start of their ultimate entertaining show, everyone was in the hall holding a glass of wine, discussing and arguing among each other...except for a different person.

The one behind the vail he was sitting alone not participating in the party of the ancient entities, but watching a story from a small window at size of his eyes.

The one behind the veil appeared as a ten years old boy, with angelic wings folded neatly behind him, the being also was dressed in a white robe woven in a fabric that shifts and shimmers in light

[I'm in the mood for some popcorn. Could you grab me a bowl? Nova] the entity spoke in its soft and melodious voice, addressing his assistant that stands before the veil.

[Understood, Guardian of reality] the lady in a fire dress answered 'his' call.

[Oh, my dear Nova! You don't have to act all that formal with me, just call me by my name]

[Excuse my rudeness milord, but…]

[…what is your name?] Nova spoke again but in frightened tone, as she felt the faceless angelic entity behind the veil, staring back at her, expressionless… in the first place, how can a faceless person with no features have expressions?

[hmmm? Oh right! That makes sense I never told you my name… no wait ... I have never spoke to you before to begin with, did I? then…. it's your lucky day, shall I tell you, my name?]

Nova just gulped unable to respond, unable to stop her slight shaking in fear, she was frightened down to the soles of her shoes.

[So, listen carefully I won't be able to say it again ... my name is-, huh? Would you look at this? Hahah he's the last one to take his first steps, yet he took the longest step ahead of his peers] the guardian of reality was about to announce his name before he noticed an unexpected development in the story he was watching, but was it unexpected to him? Nobody knows. He always acted all excited over new things, he already knew they are going to happen, a mysterious entity even among the Beyonders.

In the hall discussions were still ongoing, discussing visions of the future and their next move, murmurs and chatters didn't stop until all the windows were forcefully opened showing the same content, the same person, at the same moment, a young man wearing the appraisal bracelet, no words were muttered at that moment, the ancient being's attention was fixated on that person, a brown haired boy with golden pupils that acquired a forbidden ability, of course it wasn't a demonic ability, saying demonic arts are forbidden is an insult to the most esteemed ancient beings in the hall the 'Demons of Tartarus'.

The presents were not just surprised because of what happened, no! they already knew that this was going to happen, then their attention moved from Gustang Lijk to the faceless, guardian of reality's room, in that silence the only thing you were able to hear is the hysterical laughter of the one behind the veil.

[ahahahahahh… see? I told you Nova, I told you he's going to acquire that exact ability, even though they annihilated the fairies of words, he still managed to inherit the word lord's legacy, you tried to silence him but he'll speak, he will speak with that divine tongue of his.]

What had been a calm and orderly event quickly turned into a chaotic and dangerous situation. But amidst that chaos there was a round table with eight calmly seated persons.

.

.

.

[So, do you have any plan in mind, milord?] sighed a handsome white-haired incubus in a red suit. Seated next to him, a muscular, huge guy with a calm demeanor mumbled, [Can't you see that he is enjoying his meal?]

[Y-Yeah, Belial is right, Asmodeus. Master doesn't like to be disturbed during his meals, especially,] replied a small-built man with pointy ears and reptilian eyes.

[Man, he even isolated this space from the others. What a great opportunity to have a nap,]

[Shut it, Belphegor. All you care about is lazing around. If you listen carefully enough to the conversations of these beings, you may catch an opportunity. This place is full of rich ancient beings… And how come I am the only one with a fat belly when Beelzebub there is eating without even caring about the number of calories he just consumed?]

[munch munch gulp We are just built different; I have better genetics, probably… But even if you decided to lose some body fat, I don't think that pig-like face of yours will change, ahahah,]

The calm table also made its own small chaotic state, but only six were talking while the other two were just savoring the steak as they stared at each other. At first, one would not think they were having a conversation telepathically isolated even from the isolated space.

Belial was aware of the situation but he couldn't interfere. After all, the conversation was between Lucifer and a human from another world.

[So, do you have any plans in mind, milord?]

[I have a plan, of course. It will be executed after they decide on the first wave,] replied the human.

[I don't think they planned on depending on you at first, but since this abnormality appeared in Chamenopolis, I'm sure they will cower and ask for your help,]

[Then they better prepare some great divine items for me since I'm not here to do charity or to enjoy myself. I'm not a Beyonder yet,]

And with a snap of his fingers, the bubble that isolated the group disappeared.

[By the way, milord, when are we going to take action?] asked Lucifer.

[Don't get excited. It's still too early for me to interfere with the story,]

[But the majority of the votes are on your side…]

[Yeah? I know, but don't you think that would just be an overkill? And I think the first wave of the Thurarhs is pretty close to Andromeda,] the human said just as he finished his sentence. He stood up and walked away from the table.

[What are you doing next?] asked Lucifer.

[For now, we will just watch,]
